Some awesome real world mods. You are a wise man sir and since imitation is the highest form of flattery, consider yourself flattered as I've apparently got some garage time ahead of me based on this video! I also enjoyed the comment "...lets just say it has 21 hp, that's 21 more than my blown up 690 or my blown up 950"....truly savage! I am often 50Km and more into the back country solo on my XT and know it's going to get me out every time. Thank you.

Great video. I have bounced around on several bikes, all of which are bigger then the XT but I sold them and kept this bike. I agree that people do not realize how good the bike is. Where I live, people are hesitant to ride with me because they think the bike can't keep up. They are 100% wrong and most admit after the fact.

Awesome vid, picked up the same bike because just wanted something light, reliable and simple. I throw this on the back of my truck on a hitch rack and have been all over with it. The way motorcycles were intended.

You set it up just about how I would have. Very nice. Maybe a cheap handlebar manual throttle lock thing. 👍 Very cool though . nice job! Oh.. A seat concepts seat maybe?

Great, common sense review. Surprised you haven't capped off the exhaust recirculation tube? As another former WR250 owner, I'm adding this to my stable.

Do you have any issues with your saddle bags getting hot or melted up against the muffler like that ? Or is there some form of bracket underlying that I can’t see that’s suspending them from making contact ?

19 hp and yes you have a tool pouch from the factory. But you have to remove the engine to get to it.
