It is FINALLY over, guys! Season 8 was a long one, but we are finally wrapping it up and cannot wait to start Season 9!
Next week, we will be sharing a special episode of our Night Light Rally Sponsored by Grand Design that we hosted with our friends, Less Junk, More Journey! Experiencing totality for the first time was amazing, but sharing the experience with over 300 friends made it unforgettable!
In this last episode, we share what may be the best full hookup RV site that we have ever stayed in before. It is one of the pavilion sites at Piney River Resort in Bon Aqua, TN. We were there in the off-season and got a few days free with the special they were running!
This was the perfect place for us to rest and recharge as a family which needs to be a priority when you live life on the road.
Next we visited the Mosses at their home base and headed to the Less Junk, More Journey Huddle in Pigeon Forge where we got to seRV with a huge group from the event at the Smoky Mountain Children’s Home nearby.
We entered “wedding season” as we celebrated Jess’ cousin's wedding in Georgia and her little brother’s wedding in Florida and then flew home to Maine for our It’s Better Outside store.
For everyone asking, our next store opens Sunday, April 21st! The store is only open for 2 weeks, so make sure you get your order in as soon as it launches! #itsbetteroutside
Stay tuned for next week as we experience totality and show our gratitude to Sulphur Springs, Texas, by seRVing their community in a big way! Be sure to like and subscribe and click on the bell icon for notifications when we release new videos!
Don’t wait to live your life, find your 🔆SOMEDAY🔆 now!

I know you film months in advance and I think it’s one reason that keeps you guys going and not getting burnt out. As a viewer, I wish when you load the location and show on the screen that you would include the month and year… It would make it more understandable when it comes to the season, etc.

They probably don’t pay to artificially boost their channel. Family first and if that means I don’t see it in real time, so be it. I interpret as they’re not banking on followers for their livelihood. Not to say I don’t love the other channels less, it’s just that I perceive FOS as more genuine and organic.
Cooking with Corey should be a regular segment! Yum! 😋
You guys are EPIC Best Channel ever!!!! Lets Blow up this Channel!!
We understand BUT we really have missed all of you! Welcome back to our living room!
What you just said, slow down. That is why my bride and I travel like nomads since we retired. Like our last trip. We do not RV, we stay at hotels along the way. Just a small travel plan of our route. No having to get from point A to point B. Do a lot of travel planning along the way. See something and want to stop, just stop and see it. Head towards the next possible stop the next morning, something comes up just stop. Bride got VERY good at finding places to spend the night on the fly. No set time schedule, wing it. Want to rest for a day, just stop. Some of our best adventures just popped up along the way. Like the Mark Twain house. We were coming into the city and my bride screams out, Mark Twain house we have to go. I rolled my eyes a tad but said ok. Had no plans before to stop in that city. We spent the night and went the next day. Was one our best stops, that place was nothing short of amazing. So much to see in this country. Slow down and enjoy it. I get we are retired and have the time. When we worked for a living and had 1 week vacations it was harder to slow down and smell all the roses. Case in point. When we were at the Air Force Museum in Ohio, 10 minutes away from the Wright Brothers bicycle shop. That place was so massive it took us all day to go through because we love history. We read everything. You could tell the families on a time schedule, them and the kids would look at a plane and move on. Never read anything. Felt sorry for the kids that they were seeing history but do not learn anything. One of the things I admire about both of you is you are teaching your children on the road but you are also letting them experience life and history together, not just through a book. They are very lucky. Even if they do not know it now. I understand the whole high school stuff, friends. Most people do not keep up with high school friends. The RV community you are involved with sounds more like friends they will have for life over high school. Love seeing you and your family grow. Love watching your channel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Both of these rallies and both of the SeRV events will forever be etched in our memories. Thank you again for your RVing leadership. God bless!
man that water looks so refreshing and relaxing, I feel like jumping in through the monitor I am watching this video on.
You need to put out a cook book !!!!!!!!! Chad might be the RV tech guy. BUT YOU ARE THE RV COOKING WIZARD FOR GRILLING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. YOU ARE ALSO THE RV WIZARD FOR VIDEO LANDSCAPES AND STILLS, HANDS DOWN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROCK ON
You can up the potato game by frying some bacon before the potatos and then add the potatos to the bacon grease and add some onion and the bacon back Oh my. so good. Love Cooking with Corey!
If you’re ever running up I-81 in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley you might want to check out Natural Chimneys Park and Campground. We stay on the D loop when we’re there. Sites are mostly power and water only but the nearby chimneys are a site to see. Plus you’re close to the Harrisonburg and Staunton areas to explore.
Spot on family first, you guys are amazing so down to earth, we are getting closer to our RV adventure. God bless your family.
No. You can never have to many fires!!!! Love how you do volunteer work even on the road.
My bubble consists of me, my wife, and our precious little dog. We're in our 60s👍🇺🇲
So nice to open up the laptop and see you four pop up on my KZread! Excited to see the up coming videos! Thanks for sharing.
I CAN'T WAIT to try those smashed potatoes. And what an incredible campsite! Safe travels, friends!
You won’t believe how excited I just got that you shared our picture in your video!!!!
A perfect camping sight, and a wonderful looking steak and potato meal!!!
Holland State Park in Holland Michigan is our go to campground. close to the beach and Lake Michigan.
Great video. Thank you. Blessings
Union Creek Campground near Crater Lake, it has been years since we have been there but we still talk about it. Nestled into the woods. It was perfect

I just looked it up, it is a State Park with some RV spots. Nice park. Definitely going to try this when we go to Crater lake. We live in Oak Harbor, WA. Great tip
The smashed potatoes look great! What a fun video!
So enjoy your videos. We are actually heading to Tennessee and Kentucky in May. Safe travels.
Wow what a nice site. Thanks for sharing.
I get so excited when you guys are near us here in Nashville, glad your bubble is resting up
Great video ! Now I'm hungry. Headed to kitchen to get a snack. Epic camp spot dude.
Great music as always, especially love the music in the intro.
Good episode. Appreciate the RV Park information. That one definitely has that "slow down" sit awhile, feel to it. Can't wait to see the new digs. Looking forward to catching up with you guys down the road.
Everyone already knows about one of our favorite campgrounds - Bahia Honda State Park in the Florida Keys! But I know you already have a great place to stay in Key West, but if you ever get a chance to get one of the waterfront sites at BH, it’s totally worth it - even just for one night! 💖 Agreed that the Blackstone is the best outdoor cooking tool! I’m definitely trying those smashed potatoes. 😁
Great Vlog...can't wait to see the next segment (at the rally) !!
The potatoe thing, growing up we would have this for breakfast kinda like a hash brown. The reheated boiled potatoes in butter in a frying pan, yum! Love your idea of just 3/4 cooking them! That campsite looks amazing, thanks for all the videos of it!
LOVE my Better Outside hoodie!!! Can't wait to wear it on my own season 4. Safe travels, friends!
Next time you are in the San Francisco area you have to try Kinder's ball tip sandwiches from one of their restaurants. Also try kinders marinade. Also marinate a tri-tip and bbq it. You'll be in heaven
beautiful area and campsite.!! like smashed potatoes!! great video!! have a good day and week. travel safe..
What a fantastic camp site! We love Devils Den State Park in Arkansas .
Got to have a Weber grill I am lucky to be able to take a full size Weber on our travels ,toy hauler, love your vids thanks for sharing and safe travels .
Wow! Thanks for the shout out to Berry College, which is my Alma mater. I hope you enjoyed your time there.
Thank you for designing the solar eclipse shirt. We got lots of compliments and they were so soft. I am so glad we got to see the Total Solar Eclipse in Dallas, TX. It was amazing. Thinking about going to Spain for the next. Safe Travels. 🤗
Have you ever been to Stone Mountain just east of Atlanta? That one of our favorites. And then there is Dark Sky RV Park in Kinabalu, UT. So fantastic, but for much different reasons. Just about the best night sky we’ve experienced. And the owners are wonderful people. They host an all camp dinner on Thursday nights.
Great video as always to wrap up the season. I wish we could smell those steaks. 🤤 We use the blend too. When I pinned this campground on my google map I already had a note to not stay there bc of flash flooding. Not sure who I heard that from. It could’ve been in the spring. It’s beautiful though! We too prefer our bubble most of the time. Something about clean rig and truck, propane full, Tanks empty, diesel full, groceries and laundry done.hubby by my side nothing better. Another seRV event well done. Anxious to see next weeks video of the fun time we had at the Rally.
Loved The Ridge Outdoor Resort! We did our Give Back at the children’s home too!!!❤
Just a little busy, right? Thanks for the update because I was getting a bit worried about you! I hope you had safe weather while in TX and got at least a glimpse. Looking forward to Season 9.
FYI, you might try this light weight, Blackstone Adventure Ready Griddle Press with Collapsible Handle, found at WalMart. For smashing down your potatoes.👍👍👍
We just got back from Cheaha State Park in Alabama and stayed in the lower campground and can’t wait to go back. Definitely add it to your list! So relaxing-but only t mobile works there!
Just found your channel and just awesome. Love the true to life experiences and unique life journey your on. Thanks for sharing it with us. Reminding me and my family that “Today is that Someday” I was thinking about years ago.
OMG! That site! 😍 I’m probably not going to get much love for this take, but my go to lately is 1/2 inch top sirloin, brushed with olive oil and steak spice, at 400 for 7 minutes in the air fryer. Yup. I said it. Air fryer. Perfect medium rare every time. Judge me if you will, but I love those steaks. 🥩 😋

No judgement here! If it works for you it works😎 I’d try it !
Incredible trip! Thank you for sharing. Noticed I was unsubscribed but, got re subscribed! On to Season 9! 🖖🏻😘👍🏻🙏🏻
Now that we have made it back to our homebase here in Tennessee, I am getting a chance to catch up on some videos.
Well, you were in Sevierville, my part of the world! I hope you had a good time in E. Tn.... Yep, you pronounced it right! John Sevier was the 1st Governor of TN in 1796 ☺
Pirateland in Myrtle beach. You are packed in there but you get your own picnic table and gazebo. And you are 30 seconds from the ocean. Cedar point’s lighthouse point ultimate patio site (if you can get lake view even better) they have two different campsites splurge for the ultimate patio sites you won’t be disappointed (not the pull through some type of bird lives in those bushes and they dive bomb everyone🤣)
@theextreme1989

I second the Cedar Point Lighthouse Point campground. Cant beat the ultimate patio sites.
Great video and like the cooking segment. Try a hamburger press for smash burgers might work for the potatoes.
Great content. Appreciate you guys.
So happy I found you guys! Love it and looking forward to more videos! Safe travels guys!
It’s called mushy fried potatoes, we love them. Even better it to add onions.
What an amazing site! You don’t want to leave to explore when you have a site like that! Thanks so much for sharing! We will actually be camping near Nashville next week. Wish we would have known about this place sooner!
We just added a black stone. Can’t wait to try the potatoes. We are team “leave the skins on the potatoes” too!
Sous vide and finish on the blackstone for steaks.
Love thesmasked potatoes I like to add onions and green bell peppers to the mix
The campground in Disneyworld!! They even cleaned the roads with a street sweeper!!
We have those stakes and my husband loves them. They were a game changer. We have been to The Ridge in TN and loved it! Thanks for the lesson on the steaks, so going to be trying that soon. The potatoes look amazing, so will do that when we meet up with family in the next couple of months. Really enjoying your videos!
I love the instant readers for temps, but when you let it sit for ten minutes, you will be eating cold steak. I try to pull the steak off a bit closer to done which of course is medium. You have a beautiful family.
Hey Corey, Love your cooking tips. I have a Blackstone Adventure Ready 22 with hood. I have used a pellet smoker tube with it. It's awesome. gives your cook that smoke favor on the griddle. Corn on the cob, steak, taters...
Looks a lot like Sylamore Creek in Arkansas. Looks great.
I would add a little bit onion to the potatoes.
ive been waiting all week for yalls video...finally!!
We tried the potatoes tonight. They were a hit. Thank you. Jeff n Karen
Your video editing is kick a$$!!! Great videos
Thanks for the grilling advice. I'm never patient enough to let the meat rest for a whole 10 minutes--helps to be doing smashed potatoes, I guess!! Very pretty site you were lucky to get.
You pronounced Sevierville correctly 😂. We did the SwitchItUp give back there. Hope my electrical wiring was still working. The Ridge is where my Jeep broke free from the tow bar coming up to the checkin area. No more Jeep or Class A.
We love Piney. We have a story about that campground! If we ever meet up, we will share it with you!❤
That site was awesome! We have a semi permanent site at the confluence of the Allegheny and Kiskiminatas Rivers east of Pittsburgh, Pa... Now we have a pop-up too, so we can go out for a couple of days as well ..
That is now a must for us! Also if you’re ever in WV go to Bulltown campground. It’s an Army Corp and it’s just amazing. We went for 3 days and stayed for 2 wks. Great video. Thx for always putting out quality. ❤️
Check out Endless Caverns RV Resort in Virginia. Close to Blue Ridge Parkway. On site caverns that are awesome. Fabulous sunsets by the store and short hike to their sign on the side of the mountain. Best sites are near the top of the resort. Large wooded sites.
We also call them smashed potatoes , they are awesome !
Checking for the store “it’s better outside”! Hoping that we don’t miss it.
If you want to jump off of rocks, you should check out Summersville Lake in West Virginia. Several options for campgrounds there, we normally stay at mountain lake but there’s also a coe campground on the lake as well.
Me and my bride are headed to the Vidalia Onion Festival in Vidalia ,GA this weekend on Sat. the 27th. Going to the event and watching the Blue Angles fly on Saturday. Only time they will be in GA this year. If you can make it, you can park your RV and stay at our house 20 miles away. Have power and water for you.
Love the camp site.
FOS on SUNDAY! Yayyyy
New Yorks from Sam’s club on Blackstone
You guys need to check out Campground Island in Dover, PA. We love it!
I would love to go there and stay a week.
AWESOME AND OF COURSE I LOVE NATHAN AND MARISSA... ENJOY YOUR FAMILY TIME FAMILY IS EVERYTHING. GOD BLESS. I LOVE YOU. SAFE TRAVELS❤❤❤❤❤
We love our Blackstone.
If you're ever in the Asheville, NC area check out the Asheville East KOA. I was in Site 3 and it's sideways lakefront. Definitely the best RV site I've had. Sites 1-6 are all sideways lakefront full hookups.
Try out Sycamore Springs in English, Indiana
The Blue Ridge Ranch, NC
I have the same exact temp probe. 👍
So looking forward to the exciting news and got so many compliments on my eclipse t-shirt in Greenville the 10 hour ride home to Southern NH not so fun....lol

Greenville, Maine is one of my happy places!
I am waiting for the new RV park to open in Cartersville, GA so you can see it along the Etowah river. Looks like it is going to be nice. Might have to check it out on your way back to Rome, GA sometime. Since it is only about 20 miles from Rome, GA. Have not seen the progress in a couple of months. Will let you know.
My Blackstone doesn’t get hot enough to get that sere on steak that I like. So I use the fire. The propane stove will heat a cast iron skillet hot enough to sere. Even yours weren’t charred enough. But they looked great. It’s gotta be difficult to edit and make videos at the quality you do. You definitely know how to make it work
Awesome. What a great secret Rv Park. We added it to our list of places to hit if we are in the area and looking for a nice spot. Congrats to the Brides and Grooms. Much happiness to you all
Zubers River camp Frio River Texas!
I'm getting hungry. I'm in east Tennessee, I think I smell the potatoes. Greeneville, TN Love your show. I've seen most of your programs.
You need to ck out Anchor Down in Dandridge TN. Get a water site with a fireplace.
Definitely going to make those potatoes next campout
Columbus state park in Columbus Kentucky is a great park with a lot of history from the civil war. It very reasonably priced for full hookup.
Oh wow you were only 45 minutes from us how awesome. Thats a nice place.
Wow, really awesome site!!! Always family first, they're the ones you can count on 💩 hits the fan❤. We absolutely love our Blackstone and Weber grill, What brand smoker is that and do you recommend/does it take up a lot of space? We go full-time end of May, time to enjoy the minutes flying by at the speed of sound!
That's an amazing spot! Great job wiggling in there...... Could never pull that off with my 42' 5er...... Take care!!

You could, just like me without the other site’s occupied. You have very similar maneuverability as me. We’re almost 36ft but that includes the tongue, we both probably tow the exact length. The true determining factor is the distance between the rear truck axle and the first axle of the trailer. So basically if hight wasn’t an issue(we’re 11ft 8inches) , if I can get there you probably can too.

What a wonderful episode that you.
