    this is very practiced presentation, with only one glitch. for most users, there is an issue at every point in the process, this doesnt give any insights on how to fix common problems, other than to have pefect base images (which I agree is handy)

    Great, very informative video! I have had to watch it a couple of times, (pausing and going back, then making adjustments in PS) (69 and still learning!) but have managed to stitch a couple of pano's taken from a Yuneec CG03 Pro camera and created one from 4 images taken in Scotland using my DSLR, during a recent trip - but not taken with a view to creating a pano pic. I am subscribing!

    Thank you for another wonderful video! You explain everything so well, easy to understand! I really appreciate that. I just attempted this with 2 of my photos. Photo 1 should be on the left, photo 2 on the right. PS ordered them 2 on the left, 1 on the right. Received a message saying: "Some images could not be automatically aligned. A fill area could not be created.", is there a way to get around that? They are scanned images from slides (taken in 1979 with a Pentax ME), in case that is helpful information. Thanks Ed!!

  • @clearlyed

    Happy you enjoyed my photoshop panorama tutorial. It sounds to me like there is no overlap in the original images. Photoshop analyzes the images and looks for where they are similar in contrast and color to find joins. firstly make sure theat there is actually an overlap. them make sure that the color is the same in both when you scanned and finally try changing the file name so the one on the left has a lover 'number' this will help photoshop to arrange them. Making pandas in photoshop relies on a lot of power and computer analysis and if it can't find a like it will just place then next to each other. I hope this helps.

    Hi Ed, can you pls help me. I need explain why when I edited my photo from RAW file in Lightroom is resulted size littler than I edited the same photo in Camera RAW. Export setting are same. I export to JPG. Thanks for answer :).

  • @clearlyed

    @clearlyed

    8 жыл бұрын

    This may have something to do with the way that Lightroom works. The data is stored in a separate Lightroom reference file so when it is exported it is only looking at the reference to create the edits. In Adobe Camera RAW the settings are saved into the file itself which may result in larger files. That being said I am definitely surprised as i would expect the exported files to be almost identical in size. Maybe lightroom has a better export processor. I hope this photoshop panorama tutorial helped too.

    That is going to be difficult because of the distortion with such a small space. You will be better off using a wide angle lens for this situation. it can be done but you ar going to need a lot of distortion control on it. I hope this helps with you photoshop panoramas.

    Ii will great one of these in the future for sure. This type of photoshop panorama works in the exact same way. the only difference is the way you take the photos. Just a else with a very large aperture (low f stop) and sett the focus to manual. now shoot a number of photos. then when you stick them to a panorama you will get a huge image yet a very shallow depth of field. i love this technique.

    Making photoshop panoramas requires a fair amount of computing power as well as well organized photos. you need to make sure the images fit together well, the exposure was somewhat accurate and the images are overlapping enough. if you got the photography part wrong it won't work. You can try and number the files in order which will help photoshop to place them in the correct place.

    Hi mate, how are you? Great video, very informative but it doesn't really work out for me. Since you say in your title HUGE panorama I clicked on it. Because I shot a panorama that contains 144 shots with a 50mm lense. The panorama contains the milkyway, mountains, aurora australis and a small city underneath. Pretty cool and sharp shot. But I can't manage to complete the panorama. The shots definitely overlap! Let's have a chat about this one maybe?
