I never tried panorama but for my international project I shot multiple photos at some place where I had the permission to enter the venue once, so i took the photos thinking that I'll stitch them together in photoshop by just adding them one after the other. I was so disheartened when i was unable to do so! I searched on internet and didn't find any way out but on youtube I found you teaching panorama in photoshop.... Trust me all my tension vanished since, I have seen many photoshop tutorials of you and they have always taught me something new and productive. Thank You! After watching this tutorial I'm really eager to try more panorama shots for fun.

I'm completely in love with Phlearn 😍. You really make the perfect tutorials and remind me a lot my ex photoshop's teacher. The good thing about you guys is that you teach how to use the tools more than just how to make any effect, and that is amazing. The way you teach how to see the details and make it real, you explain everything making people see and think about how things looks in reality... thank you so much Aaron, this has made several pictures I have had in my folders from when I was visiting the USA to come to life in a whole new way, especialy the astoria collumn pictures, I had no idea it was that easy to combine them together. I have also been using the system to merge photos of a house we are looking at renting to give more views of the rooms that I took pics of and then fill with the items from the current house into the empty rooms

yo Phlearn I love your page. I want to ask you I shot a star gaze pano and I seem to be getting an extremely distorted result l. unfortunately I shot it super wide and used lowest aperture to expose the stars. how do I better fix the distortion beyond the lens correction option. Are there other ways to make panos in ps?

Hey Phlearn, great stuff as always! I've recently picked up a Canon dslr and am loving it! I'm able to be really creative. I've also just bought my first lense which is a 50mm f/1.8 lense for some nice depth of field. Any chance you could put together a simple dslr tutorial series for beginners? I'm starting to find dealing with f/stops, iso and shutter speed a bit easier but I find your teaching methods so easy to follow and I think this would inspire other new photo rookies to to get into photography too. Do you already have something like this?

***** It's my dad's old EOS 300D (he bought the 600D). It's only a 6MP shooter but the pictures are still beautiful and completely usable. It's a fantastic piece of kit. :)

I agree. They market as Photoshop and photography tutorials, but I've rarely seen photography tutorials. I love Phlearn, and I've learned tons of valuable info from them, but it's mostly been for Photoshop. I would love for Phlearn to put as much effort and information into photography tutorials as they do Photoshop tutorials. My knowledge would skyrocket if they were to do that.

There are areas where the stitching doesn't exactly match up, such as the peak of the mountain in the background. Do you have any tips for this?

Hey Aaron, I was wondering if it would be smarter to make that merged layer a smart object. Also, do you think that opening up an acr filter and using the spot correction in there can be better than the healing brush since you can visualize the dust more easily? Love your channel btw!

Beautiful desert photo in your video! Just some additional information: I went back to some old images I had and tried it with them. The problem was that the images were taken with a 14mm lens in landscape mode, two big no-no's for panoramic photography. I wanted to try it anyways as the sunset in the photos was really good. It would not work without checking "Geometric Distortion". The result was an interesting and curved super wide angle photo that was better than the original photos individually, although highly distorted.

Thank you for your video. I produced a great image after first learning how to do it from this tutorial. I took 5 vertical shots at 14mm, which could be a bit too wide, but I wanted to see if it would work. It did work, with some distortion, but it looks great overall. The image consists of 5 vertical shots taken at 125/s stitched together and 5 vertical shots taken at 2000/s stitched together. Then, both images (light and dark) were auto-aligned, with the lighter image as the primary, and then I used gradient fill to darken the sky and a few other areas. I then cropped the photo and added a little contrast, and it was done. The HDR technique really helps when there is large contrast between the land and the sky. I did not even use a tripod as I had to reach up over a small gate. I don't even think my travel tripod extends high enough. I plan to try this again with a tripod and taking more shots at less wide angle.

Hi Phlearn I'm watching your tutorials for couple of months now, and I have learned a lot about ps and photography... find your tutorials the best ones - Thank You so much! Recently I bumped in to a problem with color binding (tonal gradients are not smooth)... At the end of shows, Aron invites us to say what would we like to se in tutorials, so this is my wish and proposition for next one. this problem is specialy present in black&white edit thank you once again and best wishes in 2015!

Hi, thank you for the wonderful episode. I want to ask a question about the "photomerge" function in photoshop in CC2014 and CS6. I realize that when we use "photomerge" in CC2014, the layer mask of the image is just curves and straight lines. It works in this simple situation. However, if I use the same method in CS6, the edge of layer mask of the image is much more accurate. The "photomerge" function is much greater in CS6 in my opinion. You can have a try with more complex images. Why photoshop have this change?

nice video. but i did photos of a village at night you can see the lights and a bit of the sunset but my program has problems with merging them together to a panoramic photo because it has less points to look at that they are aligned. can you help

At 4:07 in your video your different images show their final destination in the final image. When I upload mine only the first image populates the main image. The other 4 images show in the small area but there isn't anything in the small black box to the right of it. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
