Double drop shadow & scaling are both things I had never considered! People reading this: You can also double click layer to get to the Layer Styles. FYI. I know Aaron went the long way to show the full steps.
Loved this one! There are multiple tips in this video I will use over and over. Thanks!

Very useful tips Thanks for the extra explanations
I’m just so thankful for your tutorials! I’d love to know how to match white posing cubes in a shot to the outfit or backdrop color for studio shoots! I love my posing cubes but I wish I could change the color of them sometimes but can never do it since it’s white and there’s no existing tone (like your yellow moped) to change the hue to a different shade. Is there a way to change white objects to a color on the subjects outfit or backdrop?

hi Tia! Check out this other tutorial: phlearn.com/tutorial/change-bg-color-ps/ While it's not a posing cube...Aaron covers how to change white to other colors. ☺
Thank you Aaron. As always you have made a really good tutorial.

Great video, as always. The only thing I might question is changing the colour of what appears to be the contents of the basket, as that might be something like clothing, a bag, etc.

Hey there! We wanted to change the color of all the elements that were yellow. But if you want to exclude the contents inside the basket, you can adjust the selection ☺

Nice! Could we have used Selective Color?

You could definitely try, but we think this technique is more precise 🤗
Hey Aaron, been watching for a few years and I've noticed you always select a new adjustment layer/fx from the toolbar dropdown menu, as opposed to the GUI icons at the bottom of the layer panel. Is this just personal preference or is there a more specific obvious reason for using this method?

Hey there! It's personal preference :) Sometimes we switch it around.
Well done again, Aaron. thanks!

How do you best color match if you only had a wall and had to INSERT a bike into the photo?
@phlearn
Ай бұрын
Hi Alex! In that case, first incorporate the bike into the new background and then proceed with the color matching 🤗

if inserting something that was shot in a totally different environment, you're getting into ''compositing'' images so i'd look into that keyword more.
