Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

These are a great dunking cookie, for coffee or tea, even red wine!! Redolent with anise seed flavouring, they are crisp and flavourful. These will keep almost indefinitely in airtight containers. A must have for the holidays.
Ingredients:
1 c (250ml) milk
1 c (250ml) veg oil
2 c (500ml) sugar
3 eggs
6 tsp (30ml) baking powder
1 tsp (5ml) baking soda
2 Tbsp (60ml) anise seed oil
6-8 c (1.5L) flour - enough to make a soft but firm dough

Hi 👋 Thank you for the recipe, I was in Libya they have the almost same cookie, maybe Greek influences. Could you please explain more clear your mentioning of the heat degrees, 375 is Celsius or Fahrenheit?

Hello Ozden!! Yes, recipes, especially the popular ones, migrate. The older the recipe, the more likely it has spread farther. I am sorry, but 375 degrees Fahrenheit which is about 190 degrees Celsius... I hope that helps!

@@MomsGreekKitchen thank you so much for your quick response l, I really appreciated, do you know I was doing this cookie when I sent you msg and I wasn’t sure ur response will reach on time when I start to put in oven, well I thought same way that it should be Fahrenheit and put it on 190-195 Celsius for cook, just now I tried to cut the slices for double cook. I used half measure Of your recipe, only difference is anise oil, I have anise seeds and used 3 tablespoons seeds instead of oil. Actually I am not sure about the result. Hopefully it will good. Thank you again. Greetings from Turkey 🇹🇷

@@ozdenid ********thank you so much for your quick response You are very welcome…I am glad I could respond in time to help you. *********only difference is anise oil, I have anise seeds and used 3 tablespoons seeds instead of oil Did you grind them to a powder or did you leave them whole? I will be very interested to hear how this worked for you. Mom only ever used anise seed oil…it is VERY strong and gives a lovely flavour to these cookies, as well as to the kourabiedes, the Greek shortbread kind of cookie with the icing sugar all over it. **********Hopefully it will good İyi şanlar **********Thank you again.
