Best 2023 TVs To Buy In 2024!

Ғылым және технология

While finding the best television on the market is difficult because everyone has different needs, you can easily narrow your search by looking for the best option based on your price range. High-end TVs deliver the best picture quality, but they're also expensive, so if you want something cheaper, you'll have to sacrifice some features, but most 4k TVs are good enough for most content. Choosing the best TV on the market also depends on the content you watch and where you're going to place it; if you watch a lot of 4k HDR content, you might want a top-quality TV, but if you're just watching the news on a cable box in a dim room, you can go for something cheaper.

Abby is 100% right on with her assessment of the Sony X93L! Fantastic TV viewing experience and after 4 months, it would be the same TV I would buy today. It's honestly excellent and I've been all Samsung for many years. I bought the 75" and would highly recommend going bigger if stuck between 65" and 75", definitely go bigger! It was between the X93 and S90C Samsung when I was shopping. When compared side by side the X93 had the better picture quality and lacked the very noticeable stutter the Samsung had. The X93L is the best bang for the buck in Sony's lineup with everything considered.

I bought the 65, and wished it was a 85 but since I sit close I didn't want to lose sharpness the bigger the TV is. So if you're not sitting close the 85 will be best because you also have to consider where in movie scenes it shows the black bars thus making the picture allot smaller so if you go for an 85 the TV will still look big regardless. Anyways this is also why I'm a fan of Samsung's new Mini-LED that they had at CES with their new "Super resolution" upscaling A.I. because they made it to where the picture doesn't lose sharpness the bigger the TV is.

@@AFS-ht7bg sounds about right, usually is 10,000 hours for plasma and OLED to get burn-in from everything I've read. I just returned a desktop OLED panel that I bought (MSI MPG 271QRX QD-OLED) because I added up how long it should last with my heavy usage. Should start burning in right after the 3 year warranty is up. Picked up a LG LG 27GR83Q-B instead. Less than half the price and should last as long as I want to use it. Your Panasonic is newer than my Samsung plasma (PN50B650 from '09 it was in storage for half it's life). I want a 55" TV so it fits in any room I want to put it in someday. But the X93L is what I wish came in a 55. Take a good look at the existing Sony miniLED TVs, and maybe wait for the 2024 model announcement. That's probably what I'm doing.

If I had to say: They charge a lot of money for their TVs when they have major caveats, like: Poor upscaling and displaying of low bitrate content (ie youtube, netflix, prime disney+, etc); poor game mode on all their LCDs especially since the Neo QLEDs; really advert heavy OS with a poor UX; poor sound due to thickness of TVs and speaker placement; poor build quality on some premium models and laggy OS on even the high evnd stuff. Hisense has better upscaling and low bitrate content smoothing as of 2023, better tonemapping that doesn't crush shadow detail or blow out highlights and they are charging very little for even their flagship models. Hisense have problems too but not so many fundamental things like the poor sub-4K presentation and borked game mode (the problems cant be calibrated out either). Also if you love accuracy in your image then Samsung is something to avoid, you can't even pay someone to calibrate the issues away, you're just stuck with very crushed shadow detail and a borked game mode. Those things are a deal breaker for me (I own a Sony ZD9).

Durability is a myth. No matter how much money you spent for a TV, all of them fail as soon as the warranty is over. No more Updates, Apps or Firmware. All start to fail but due to Planned Obsolescence, more than a Components usage. You can't spend money for a TV every one, two or three years. It would be amazing a TV which comes with at least 5 years of Warranty, just dreaming here.
