Very well organized and informative. As someone who doesn’t buy a new TV very often I find myself overwhelmed by the cryptic model numbering systems used by different manufacturers. This video helped me to understand the various Sony models lines and make a decision about which one was right for me.

I love Sony so much 😍in fact it is my favourite electronics company… i remember back in the day when flat LCD TVs were invented my grandparents used to have the newest Sony Bravia. I loved that TV so much and many years later they gave it to me so i could play my ps3 on it… i still own it and after all these years it still works just fine

@@smarthomesounds Only issue I just found out they skipped 75" model for the x90L which is what I was aiming for, the 85" is that more expensive that the jump to the mini led 75" higher end model is too close so again... gotta work harder and longer for that one lol...

I would love to see a video on home cinema speaker setup value/mid/premium recommendations for the flagship TVs of the year, ie. LG G3 & Sony A95L. Especially given both of these act as a centre channel in the right set ups. Personally I’m considering the G3 and interested in value/mid recommendations for a setup that works well with this TV, taking advantage of using the TV as a centre channel.

@Smart Home Sounds, can you please make a video comparing maybe non-similar technology TVs such as x90L vs G2? I know one is full array LED and one is OLED so there are some very obvious differences, but in practice how much difference would there be? How perceivable is it? As due to the newer version launches, in many places the OLED of last year is costing same as the full array LED of this year, or OLED of last year 65" costs same as full array LED of 75" last year, so it might be helpful.

Hi I want to buy the Sony Bravia XR as I have a Sony PS5. Thanks in advance but I have 3 questions before I buy… Question 1) I only have space for only a 50” or a 55" so which one is better out of the 2? Question 2) I heard that OLED was the best so if the Sony Bravia XR is made for the PS5 then why is the Bravia XR only LED and not OLED or doesn’t it matter? Question 3) I use a Digital Audio Optical TOSLINK cable from the TV or Mac and plug it into my amp for 7.1 sound. Does the Sony Bravia XR 50” and 55” have a output socket for a Digital Audio Optical TOSLINK Cable? This one is a make or break for me if it hasn’t got one then I won’t buy it.

Best video by far! I can’t thank you enough. Here is my confusion if you or anyone else here can advise me. I need for streaming movies and music through Apple TV + HomePods pair and gaming on PS5. 4K streaming, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, IMAX support is a must because Apple TV supports all of that. I really don’t need of its own OS, its own speakers (except during gaming perhaps if I ever don’t put on my Bose headphones). A95L is heard to be coming not before September, but I need to buy within July. Or if anyone else has heard it to be coming sooner than I know. A95K is QD-OLED too but it’s first generation. So, it kind of worries me. Burn-in issue is also on my mind. X95L is mini-LED which I think is better than OLED yet not as modern technology as QD-OLED. Please suggest me. Thanks so much.

Thanks for the comment! As far as we have heard, the A95L will be later in the year. From our testing the A95K has been a brilliant TV and there is a lot of tech involved to ensure it'll be great for a long time to come. That would be my suggestion 👍🏻

How can you say A95L is the best panel of the bunch when it suffers from serious burn-in problems like most other OLED panels as shown by RTINGS endurance testing? VA panels are still the only long term choice for a gamer, sports enthusiast, and creative power user where the screen deals with a lot of static images.

Just wanted to know if the A90K OLED is worth paying that extra $1k or is the picture quality in the X85K good enough for watching movies, tv, etc. I don't do any gaming. I'm not looking at other brands coz Sony beats them all, unless U can convince me otherwise. LOL

I was planning to buy A80L but the only thing that deter me is the pixle burning issue. Iam stuck netween A80L and X90L.

Would you say the 50 inch sony bravia 75L is better than the same price 600 pound samsung tv? The sound on samsung is awful.

Sony should be taking notes for next year! This is how you communicate with consumers effectively.

Many thanks for the positive feedback. Hopefully this comment gets a few likes and we can work with Sony more closely like they do with other influencers to create even better content for you 👍

I would LOVE to know how the TCL Q7 compares to the Sony X90L in a video. I'm coming from a Sony 900f.

I wish there was more consumer education on how to compare products. Consider Sony to be the luxury car brand. TCL will be like a Kia. They will both get you to your destination but one has prestige and elegance while the other you'd rather not talk about. TCL has always been good on paper in terms of bang for your buck but seeing as how they are communist government owned they can afford to take a loss at the expense of killing off the competition. I would rather fund a company that works for a friendly ally government than one who would like to see us wiped off the earth. Many TCL owners who have also been Sony owners will tell you of the issues TCL has. Like bad panels with lots of DSE and Banding. They are unreliable and break down fast. Mostly because they use cheaper materials and have subpar assembly and manufacturing. Sony has been in the game as the best on/off for the last 50 years starting with the Trinitron. The experience and expertise plus patents are second only to Panasonic. I would say both these companies are in a league of their own. Only problem is Panasonic doesn't sell in the US market anymore. If I were you I'd go Sony but I get it sometimes we'd like not to spend more than we need to but I would rather not give my money to the PRC (People's Republic of China). We need to do our part to stop funding a tyrannic and human rights violating government. All Chinese companies are state and government controlled. The get subsidies to beat the competition and that is how they control the world's manufacturing. Time to get our addiction off cheap products and pay for our luxury goods. That's my 2 cents.

Thanks but you have to mention that x85l don't really support 4K @120Hz, it actually split the 4K resolution by half when running @120Hz.

@@polvorin15764 Sony itself, processor x1 can't do a 4K@120Hz without cutting the resolution to something like 3840x1080p
