Your fan idea was a huge help and I decided to buy one for mine. Used it for the first time tonight with the fan and started the fire within 2 minutes and kept the fire blazing above 800 degrees without any problem. I use a combo of wood chips to start fire and then wood chunks to boost heat and flavor

Nice! I set mine on 2x6 boards and they don't get hot. I haven't tried on the plastic table but it generally doesn't get too hot under it.

Still using and loving it! Been finishing a basement so haven't been making videos like I want. You won't be disappointed, it works great. My favorite is propane with wood tray for consistency of the LP and bigger flames and flavor of the wood. The stone is 12.25" wide. I usually go for 11-12"

Nice! I recommend the wood tray because it elevates the wood and allows more airflow. I would try to get some hard wood chunks too as the pellets can be a bit smokey
