Thank you so much for doing this! My pm Dr did this to me 🤬.. how do we get off of this without dying.? All my pain that I had before has been made worse. 🥺🤬. 12 year intractable pain patient with two failed back surgeries. Thrown to pain management to die. He's done a good job. He doesn't even believe I'm in withdrawal. Doesn't know why I want to go through withdrawal. He's the one that calls this in January when you cut my dose in half. 🥺🤬

This makes me think I should reduce + move towards avoiding the benzos as stabilizers - although they help, I can see how they could just cause a never ending cycle of my MCAS. Really appreciate you posting this!

Benzos did this to me. They absolutley destroyed me. Now im sensitive to evrrything. I had such a great life prior to using them. 6 and half years off benzos. Can barely eat. I was 80% healed. Then i took pepcid for 28days. It ABSOLUTLEY destroyed me. Severe setback .

We all have mast cells, not everyone will have MCAS. I had MCAS prior to benzo wd but didn't know what it was called. Now diagnosed by an integrative Dr. Benzos are mast cell stabilizers. Most or many Drs, allergists and pharmacists Drs don't know this. My immunologist didn't know until he looked it up. They are also very powerful antihistamines. Again, most Drs don't know this.

I'm going to be doing a video this evening for my 2-year update and yes I am still having lots of central nervous system cognitive issues I'm going to try to answer a bunch of questions on the video as well but I'm better but I'm still struggling more than I thought I would be at almost 2 years off so I know it's a long healing process. Sending you hugs and I'm sorry you're suffering too.

Ever since I finished tampering Clonazepam. I became sensitive to my blood pressure medicine. I tried 5 different bp medicine and all of them made me sick. Ever time I take my medicine it makes me sick and I have to take the bp medicine to keep my BP from going up. Do you know if I will still heall even though I take my medicine every day.

this is so interesting. I started tapering off of klonopin about 2 months ago and shortly after had anaphylaxis. I have been dealing with daily histamine issues since and you're right, they are life consuming. I have all of the same issues as you do. It was actually nice to feel like I finally understand why it's all happening because I've asked 2 allergists/immunologists if they thought it was related to tapering and they told me no. They put me on high doses of both Allegra and Pepcid daily and are trying to get my insurance to approve Xolair shots. I am just wondering if your allergist has told you that since its provoked from the benzos, if its something you can recover from eventually?

I'm so sorry you are suffering, this is pure hell! Funny these doctor's deny benzos are the culprit when benzos are a high powered antihistamine/psych drug! When you take Allegra, or Clariton this many years we'd get the same affect! I do know many say we heal in my group, I'm holding onto that hope Xoxoxo

I'm not a doctor but I wouldn't put it past it most psych drugs and certain antibiotics and over-the-counter medicine can make mast cell and histamine worse even just finding out that going under anesthesia like I did made mine worse than it should have been. Any drug that acts as an antihistamine very well can cause this reaction.

Yeah it's definitely really tough it's not easy. That's why it's good to go with supplements that are not full of additives and I do not recommend ever buying supplements over the counter at your local grocery or places like that. Especially your vitamins that are all in one because they contain so many things that are too strong for us.

How much of BW symptoms do you think are related to gut bacteria? Sorry if you've spoken about this already, I may have missed something in your vid. Throughout BW I ended up with leaky gut/IBS (severe constipation due to gut bacteria imbalance from how I was eating- was allergic to EVERYTHING so badly that I only ate raspberries and nuts like almonds for 7 months straight), a dietician told me to eat low fodmap diet, ever since starting it I've had tinnitus especially from foods (high pitch ringing in ears). I noticed you mentioned ringing in ears has to do with the mast cell and histamine. I just had porridge with pure maple syrup and it's made it a lot worse plus sinus issues. I googled it and it turns out maple syrup is high histamine. Prior to low fodmap I was eating keto and felt way better. So glad I found your channel. Explains A LOT of what I've already gone through with Benzo withdrawal!! I'm probs gonna binge watch your videos since I feel like I'm finally getting more answers lol. Also, what are your thoughts on high glutamate foods, are they related to the histamine effect?

I feel like if we have more control during benzo it would help us so much more! I believe it's all linked!! I now believe foods and lifestyle is the cause of mental health! Xoxox
