    Thank you so much for doing this! My pm Dr did this to me 🤬.. how do we get off of this without dying.? All my pain that I had before has been made worse. 🥺🤬. 12 year intractable pain patient with two failed back surgeries. Thrown to pain management to die. He's done a good job. He doesn't even believe I'm in withdrawal. Doesn't know why I want to go through withdrawal. He's the one that calls this in January when you cut my dose in half. 🥺🤬

    I was dealing with histamine intolerance since i finished tapering clonazepam. I was dealing with it for 14 month and it got better and i didn't have the reactions anymore,now it has come back and im having reactions again but now im having histamine symptoms even when i do not eat anything.Is it common to have histamine symptoms even when you do not eat anything and also does histamine intolerance come and go after a period of time in some people.

    I just came across your this/video 4/17/2024. How are you feeling now??? I’m a Veteran and just finished my taper from Klonipin to Valium and it was hell. I’m starting to feel better, but still feel bad. I thought after finishing my taper I would feel a lot better, but it’s not the case. Thank God I’m retired military and don’t have to work because I wouldn’t have been able to. My memory is shot as well. Anyway, I wish you all the best and hope you are much better now.

    Melissa, you look great! Thank you for continuing to teach us about histamine. What can people do for it, basically try to figure out what triggers it & just avoid those things? Are there things to help our bodies to not have these problems? Or natural ways to reset our histamine & mast cells, so they won't become over-loaded? Do people with that gene mutation have histamine problems, more-so than people that don't? You look much healthier than last year & your hair looks prettier that length. Hope you continue to feel better & better. ❤️

    If you have inflammation what is your CRP? Any blood work would immediately tell you ( if you had true inflammation) if your inflammatory markers would be elevated. Its true benzos do have some anti inflammatory properties but unless you have autoimmune or various disorders that cause inflammation a benzo will not cause the inflammation you speak of.

  • @TheBenzoHouse
    @TheBenzoHouse10 ай бұрын

    A lot of psychiatric drugs work as a mast cell stabilizer and when they do that and you come off of them inflammation is one of the side effects of mast cell along with histamine intolerance. My blood marker is did come back high and they're always high due to constant inflammation in my body. Many people that I talk to have inflammation in mine actually shows You can put your hand on my back and leave a handprint on my skin I also get flushing from inflammation and feel like I'm going to pass out. I'm being treated by a specialist who studies mast cell and histamine intolerance. A lot of us during benzo and benzo taper withdrawals inflammation markers come back high. I would say inflammation is one of my worst symptoms when I get it it's really bad.

  • @MsMary414
    @MsMary414 Жыл бұрын

    Cymbalta (antidepressant) caused my damage. I also did come off a benzo that I was on for 9 years. I did a slow one year taper off and I think I did okay with that taper. Probably was still sensitive when I tried to come off duloxetine but…. I’m off duloxetine after a horrible time to get off. I was on 10mg and had an adverse reaction May 2022. Got Akathisia. Then in August 2022 dropped from 10mg to 5mg. Saw some improvements and then in December all hell again (histamine intolerance) started! I didn’t know if was histamine and foods /chemicals were causing these severe symptoms. So then decided if I had any chance to heal had to drop the last 5mg. I dropped the 5mg to 0 in February. I like watching your videos. Most if not all of my symptoms are neurological. So so sad. I’m holding on. By the way, NO ONE BELIEVES any of this. You are enlightening and you give me hope. Thank you. ❤

    What probiotic do you recommend? I am 18 months off of 0.25 activan. Having terrible histamine issues. I have been trying to take DAO and quercertin. What are your thoughts?

  • @jmariefedder6823
    @jmariefedder6823 Жыл бұрын

    You really need to research exactly which probiotic that heals the gut. Spirulina and chlorella can help heal your gut. DAO is a good start to helping gut health. This lady just says take a probiotic and that's it. Lactobacillus which is in most standard probiotics makes histamine in the gut worse. I would suggest a prebiotic and probiotic minus the lactobacillus. Now she also states don't buy vitamins at the grocery store. Welp some of us don't live on fluffy clouds in the land of unicorns and can afford 50 plus dollars to order specialty online supplements. Do the best you can.

    I'm almost 21 months off 2.0 mgs of Klonopin, which I took daily since 2014, for anxiety, and agoraphobia, so you can only imagine how much worse those issues became, total horror trip, my taper was 1051 days long, I did it with no real support, alone on medical welfare, when Covid lockdown hit here in Canada, March 2020, I had already been isolating over 2 years, as I hit tolerance around the time of my 50th Birthday in May 2017 , I wrestled the benzo into the ground myself, today I'm still not even close to well, I still have 4 common symptom themes, running through my body, constantly , daily constant air hunger, heart woes, palps, tachycardia, Low Blood Pressure, , feeling weak/carsick like, feeling like fainting, and of course, the anxiety/agoraphobia, during early Covid, I literally went 19 months without even being in a moving vehicle, I walked to a close by grocery store, for food, that's all I saw literally, so yeah, doing the best I can , really hoping the symptoms go away , someday! so yeah, that's my condensed story... I wouldn't wish this benzo crap on anyone,

    SOOO glad to see you back with a new video! Your videos, by far, have been more helpful than any others out there. Every histamine symptom you mention you had, is exactly what I feel every day now. I tried Benadryl, but it extremely over sedates me. I use Pepcid every day, but have yet to try Allegra or Zyrtec? Which did you find helpful without the sedating effect? Thanks for coming back and hope to see more as I have been staying away from BB and others due to the growing negative posts. Hope to see you soon and keep healing.❤❤

  • @TheBenzoHouse
    @TheBenzoHouse Жыл бұрын

    I'm so glad that my videos can help someone. I would stare away from the Benadryl only because the fact that it is used to make SSRIs and has a sedating effect crosses the blood brain barrier. Allegra+ pepcid seem to help. If you take them every 12 hours starting at bedtime they can start to ease things along with diet and time. 💕
