Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. My POTS disappeared after increasing my salt intake.

I was having POTS, tinnitus, low BP, high BP, head and sinus congestion, late night distended stomach bloating, headaches, dyspnea, and dizziness. Cardiologists and endocrinologists were baffled. After I started addressing my gut microbiome on my own, my symptoms lessened a little bit. Then I deduced it was histamine intolerance or a MAST cell activation problem. Once that riddle was solved, my symptoms disappeared rapidly and are almost completely gone now.

Have you been tested for Lyme. You have the same symptoms as I do. My heart rate goes up when I get dehydrated.

Question about Blood Pressure. I have my own BP monitor, and take my BP every morning and again each evening. The results are different every time, even when I take the measurement three times in five minutes. Why is this so.

BP fluctuated throughout the day, I am 62, on no meds, don’t know what my BP is. Haven’t have any test for over 25 years.

@@chiendinh-je2xi You may not have a problem, but it's just as likely you have hypertension and don't know it. I had my BP measured in 2012 and it was extremely high (220/120), and wad told I would have a stroke or heart attack at any moment unless I started a lifetime course of tablets. I left this hypertension untreated until May last year, when I started a course of tablets. I felt no symptoms throughout this time, and have not noticed any change in symptoms since starting the course. The BP monitor now shows that my BP is regularly In an acceptable range. There has been only one pissible/noticeable "side effect" of my chronic high BP, and that is burst blood vessels in my left eye. I am 75 by the way.
