Arthur us awesome(Paul Andersen ).He,like Cillian is made for that role.If he were not on the show as in killed off, it would not be the same.He is good friends with Tom Hardy and appears in The Revanent,Legend,I think one or 2 other things?And Alfie,another perfect fit.Such a great cast.

The finale of the last season felt more like a mid-season episode. Yes there's always a cliffhanger but usually something gets resolved and we're not left completely uneasy. That's usually a trade-off A give-and-take

Cillian is the best one to play the role of Tommy he is charming but at the same time he is strong from the shape of his face and his eyes speaks no feelings sometimes

They only bright side to quarantine is that I discovered this series! Man.. how did I miss this. Watched all 5 seasons in a weekend. Now I gotta wait until season 6 😭

I am obsessed with this show. No one could have been able to pull off Thomas Shelby better than Murphy. I am in love with his character. Actually the whole cast is brilliant. It’s an amazing show.

Murphy should be next James Bond.

I’m a super fan. Watched 10 times. I can recite the dialogue. Weaving politics, gangs, police corruption, religion, family, war & romance all seamlessly into a kickass story with incredible costuming, cinematography, dialogue, sets, casting, is a coupe that hasn’t been done before. Knight is a historian. His obsession to be historically accurate and squeeze in so many real characters and incidents is taking away from the story. He should get it all out in a 5 part documentary of the period and put the Shelby’s back in Birmingham where they belong. Still, it’s better than anything ever.

Statham could've played Arthur or something, but Tommy has the madness, the intelligence, the sexiness and the brutal in him..Statham is just the one who beats them all..I've never seen him creating a deep character. And we could all agree Tommy's is quite deep one.

So glad that statham bloke didn't get it..no one but Cillian Murphy could play the Thomas Shelby part hes brilliant at it and fit..I wouldn't watch it without him in it

I was channel surfing and clicked on it. I turned it off but after I seen Cillian was in it I started it again but I was hooked after the first 10 minutes. Yeah Cillian such a master of characters. Loved them all. I had been in business years ago. While enjoying my hard work with good paychecks I felt their sense of making money and being rick stars. They were all great.

I started watching this series in quarantine and im addicted and i want more. I cant wait

Personally I think when they introduced Grace back into series 3 they shouldn't have killed her that soon I love Grace sm she deserved more parts

The bear and staff is a West Midlands/Warwickshire thing, you see it a lot when in neighbouring towns and villages.

Great videos. I also love Peaky Blinders not just for the story, but for the cinematic artistry, which becomes more incredible each series. Thanks for sharing the symbolism, as I hadn't noticed! What I do revel in is the lighting and the colours: beautiful contrasts, like when Grace met Tommy when she was married- in a beautiful teal blue dress in an ornate room with matching teal street lighting coming through the windows, contrasted against golden tasseled curtains, rich red timbers and glowing lamps- that scene was a work of art. Then there are the red Chinese lanterns that get contrasted withe eerie blue lighting and mist. The whole effect = incredible atmosphere! There are so many scenes with such immaculate design.

The confinement made me watch this amazing saga i got obsessed by! A first in my life, very sweet feeling to be longing for the next episode..it’s like waiting for a lover 😅 Congrats to all those amazing actors , no Words good enough to describe their performance!

I just loved Auther Shelby. from his bold look to his fashion and the spirit of the devil. Paul Anderson nailed it. he brought the drama character to life.

Fantastic video, many things I didn’t know and didn’t notice. Well done. Although the windows of the garrison are overthought. Might be interesting for you to know that the bear and pole is actually the emblem of the now disbanded Warwickshire Yeomanry, the regiment that the Shelby brothers served in during World War One. It is one of the antecedent regiments that formed mine. 👍🏻

What makes Cillian so perfect is his subtle acting in portraying a lethal gangsta. Way more deadly than a tough looking dude who acts with force. Like Marlon Brando in the Godfather, it's his still, quiet presence that is threatening.

It shows how our ancestors lived and life as we all descend from Romanies or travellers ( I am proud of my families roots...) was not all rich its a brilliant series think we are on series 7. hope it carries on the cast are all lush and tidy

The standing bear is the Warwickshire County crest. The boatyard scenes are filmed at the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley. With regards to the accents, There are many regional dialects within Birmingham and the Black Country. As a native Black Countryman, expat now, the series does a great job overall.

You missed one. Tommy and Arthur both have tattoos on their chest. Arthur's is a cross with beaming rays coming about above it. This is fitting because Arthur does believe in God and is a Christian. Tommy's is different. Tommy has said he is an atheist throughout the series so, he does not have a cross. However, the beaming rays are still there suggesting maybe a bit of hope for the poor guy. His hope does not rest with Jesus however. (I did my research before I got mine😂)
