Now the transmitted light is reflecting back (assume it's reflecting straight). In such a situation how to define the equation of B-L law ? Any reference for reading would be helpful. Thanks

What is the best concentration and pathlength to measure it?

It depends on so many factors. Normally concentrations are measured in milli to micro molar with pathlength being 1 or 2 cm.
