Hello Dr. Fun, this was a great video! (You should have named your channel "Dr. Fun", it would have been dope!) Requests: Are there any videos which explains the interepretation part of the data generated? I am well versed with the basic principles of spectroscopy, want to see what happens after the results are generated and where is that data stored and used. The data would be realted to the sample concentration, yes, but what next. I prefer the applications of UV/Vis spectroscopy to be of pharmaceutical/biotechnology domain. It would be of great help if anyone can share the links to videos or articles or books. Thank you! Happy learning to all!

i have any question, what are different between autozero and basecorection? we usualy using basecorection for spectrum, autozero for photometric.

If this situation arises , it can be corrected by performing an autozero operation (press the “Autozero” button.

Hi Dr, What is the difference between baseline and autozero. When you want to determine lambda max of a solution (unknown), as the first step keeping only solvent in both of the slots should we go for autozero or baseline ? Thanks in advance!
@chemfunman
2 жыл бұрын
Do autozero after you have set the baseline. The baseline is set when you have a standard you wish to use as a reference value, say, a solvent. Adding a solute incurs matrix effect.
