Well done on the cancer research appeal. I hope it hits the GBP5,000 mark and more, though we were a little disappointed that it was a beard trim rather than a beard shave. Still, it gives you a head start on growing the next one for the next Crick show. For next time perhaps add a sweepstake on how long it will take to shave it off as an extra way to raise funds, but to do that would require it to be shaved, not trimmed or people would complain that there was no definitive finish line to stop the clock on. (Could exclude the 'tache though I suppose.) Any shaver manufacturer would probably be happy to donate a couple of shavers as prizes for such an event - it gives them a bit of publicity in return. Remington did it for Dr Barnardo's when my late dad donated his beard to a sponsored shave. Remington also gave the shavers used on the two participants to them to keep (why not? Once used they couldn't be sold as new.) Dad used it for about a decade afterwards.

I know you were very eager to get rid of the beard, but the effort was well worth it. You do look younger without the long beard. Delighted you had a good weekend at Crick. Leigh

Been following you from day 1 and weve spoke over texts but never in person. Third time ive seen you guys in person again but like the other times i didnt get chance to seak as you were busy rattling again lol. Im too reserved to push forward and speak but One of these days it will happen lol. Well done with the beard shave btw :)
