Unfortunately he is holding the razor incorrectly. It’s a straight razor not a “L” razor. You want to see “correct” professional shave look for Henry Franco videos.

Now this barber knows how to conduct himself: how he moves, how he speaks, how he serves, how he dresses and impresses.

This man is dapper as hell. And he carries himself like how I would expect a gentleman would.

I get my hand straight razor shaved and beard trimmed every two weeks by a barber here in Memphis. The rate is 40 and I tip 20 on top. It’s usually a 45 minute to hour experience including hot towels and he makes his own shaving cream. It’s well worth the relaxation I get from it. For two hours a month I get peace and no one is asking me to do anything

That has to be the cleanest barbershop I’ve ever seen and the gentlemen was textbook professional.

That barber is an example of a true master of his craft. Wow. Absolute perfection every second. I know one stop I'm definitely making whenever I finally make it over to visit Ireland.

Always great to see someone conduct themselves with such dignity and class. He has both self respect and respect to the artistry and tradition of the field. Always a beautiful thing to see someone not only uphold these values, but even improve upon them. We could use many more people like this, that care about what they do and how they present themselves. Absolute perfection.

Not so long ago in many countries nearly all men behaved this way. A good start is to stop wearing non-athletic clothing made of plastic.

over 40 minutes, a nice setting and a barber that seems to take his time for a delicate job - after only 1 minute into the video you already know it's going to be a great one !

The cameraman is just so great at making this experience immersive. They somehow aren’t in the overview shot where the guy is getting stuff, but then get right back close up when he gets back to the client. I know it sounds small, but that attention to detail of the cameraman not being in those overview clips really adds to the immersion, awesome job and know it’s noticed and appreciated!❤😁

When someone does their work with pride, and expertise, it becomes an art.

I can see this barber has a healing and calming touch. You can tell a lot about a gentleman's hands, and his are perfect.

Absolutely love the firm handshake at the very end. A perfect, respectful shave all the way through. A friendly, professional barber, not shy to keep quiet unless necessary to speak. This is perfect in so many ways. Amazing. Period.

I wish we could do this! I just won't go to a "Spa".. I haven't found one yet that wasn't so ultra feminine. Not that I am not feminine but it would just be nice to go in and have a spa treatment in such a great place without all the frills, if you get my drift. I have no interest in makeup or anything like that.

@@nancyoffenhiser4916 You can, there are places (and maybe the ones you know would be willing) where you can get a "shave" without the blade in the razor. Like, just the feel of all of this, but without a blade or shaving anything from your face. Harry has done it in the Czech Republic I think. A really simple way to get the experience, I don't think any barber would mind.

I do not know why this popped up on my feed but I'm glad it did. It was mesmerising to watch and such artistry. It is so nice to see someone who takes pride in their work.

I have a long beard and I always wanted to get to these guys. It's hard to get a booking in. But once I got there... OMG... Lorenzo treated me and he was such a gentleman! It felt warm, relaxing, and they're on top of their game. Love the interiors, and love their craft. Well done guys. i'll be back soon! :)

No matter what is being done, seeing a true master of their craft, acting with such precision, is always a joy to watch. What guy wouldn't want to treat themselves to an experience like this if they had the time and money. Worth every penny.

This is brilliant on so many levels. First off, the art and mastery of Stephen Winters. The shop, the ambience, the tradition. I could go on and on. There's also an intangible here, something magical connecting it all. If you told me I watched a 40-minute video of a shave, daily, I'd tell you you're nuts, but I do.

keeping that level of careful professionalism while being filmed from multiple angles is nothing short of astonishing!

This looks beyond relaxing. Also love that the bottom half of the windows and doors are also blacked out. Too many barbers around me have full open windows and doors. It takes away from the relaxing part of it.

This young man Barber is doing his job as it's a hobby for him, you can tell from his standing to shaving that he knows exactly what he's doing moving from stage to another delicately. What a relaxation he's offering for both client and viewers. A hello from algeria, well done !

Absolute instant classic - up there amongst Harry's best!

Humans never cease to amaze and this was an epic show and testament to a true professional. Bravo 👏

Notice that he takes his time and he's always gently feeling with his fingers if the shave is close enough, and he's not afraid to gently but carefully go back and finish it up. That's true attention to detail, it isn't just "for show" but making sure it's a genuinely good result. Probably the single most professional shave I've seen on KZread, and nicely balanced - it's ASMR but also not freakishly obsessed over every minute sound and detail.

His attention to detail and the fact he takes each step to the limit is absolutely amazing.

A real professional and his shop looks amazing, I bet that shave felt heavenly.

I would visit him just to get called Sir once in my life
