I am 73 yrs old and have only had one pro shoeshine, at a hotel back in the 70's. I shine my own but there's something special about having a pro do it. You feel like a million bucks.

I don't have words to describe it, but watching someone who is good at their work and does it with integrity is oddly satisfying, and just relaxing to watch.

I love the Goku models scattered throughout the videos!

I just shined my shoes yesterday, and I was looking for a video on how to do it better... and found this instead. You're good, man.

Watching the shoeshine is relaxing. If you can't fall asleep at night, watch Angelo and it'll make you relax enough to fall asleep with no problem.

The perfect sound to help me focus while studying, so glad youtube recomended this!

the entire process was interesting and relaxing to watch, the sounds of the brushes and blades against the leather was soothing

I think though sounds are called “white noise”, they’re perfect for ASMR videos to fall asleep too

This is probably one of the best ASMR channels. A lot of variance in sounds, but isn't overstimulating. Love the content.

Amazing! I get damn near emotional when I see a man's dogs getting taken care of like that. This is more than a shoe-shine. This is giving your boots a new lease on life, giving the man who wears them new confidence, and taking care of the person sitting in front of you. I hope everyone goes and buys some good leather boots and seeks this man out when they need a brush up.

Being ex-military i had a pair of boots that took me half way round the world and back, saw more than most people see in 2 life times and those boots could tell a story, they were like a good friend that looked after me and i them.....and they were also just a pair of leather boots as well.

How exciting, I finally made it to the end of a video! I usually fall asleep before the laces get put back on.

I’ve always loved doing my own boots. I learned in boot camp, a few techniques to keep my boots shiny. I constantly fuss over my work boots now but I have to say they never look as good as Angelo’s work😁 I’d love to know what brand of boots those are. Super nice looking😮

I would say the Elegant Oxford is the ‘best’ (online at least). What I find fascinating is what Angelo is able to accomplish in that short amount of time. The results aren’t “hard” to get if you know what you’re doing, what makes this impressive is how quickly he’s able to do it. I clean, shine, protect, and repair my own shoes, and I wouldn’t be able to do this same level of work in the time he does it in. It’s why I’ll continue to watch, enjoy, and learn new things every time I watch a video 😁.

For anyome that's interested, Angelo is using a Gerber FlatIron folding cleaver. I own one, it's an excellent knife.

Looks like the Chippewa Packer logging boot. Discontinued but you can find them 2nd hand.

This is great art. I love the way the boots come to life at the end. Where are you located Angelo? And congratulations on great work! I was in the US Navy for 5 years and take a lot of pride in the way I shined my shoes.
