Tin snips would’ve worked a lot better to cut the totes. Great video 🤘🏼🤘🏼

The next time use a hand grinder, with a metal cut off blade. As long as the plastic isn't cold. You'll have no issues except dust. It's how I cut my siding pieces for 30+ years, even in the dead of winter. Another hint, cut your plywood about 3/8th an inch shorter then the width of the intended spot. Once you have the carpet on it'll hide the gab and you won't need to force anything into position. Just remember that'll change your measurements for your cutouts of your storage. So adjust accordingly.

Look up the definition of "Jon Boat." You'll find that what you have is not a Jon Boat.

I'm Aware I make the adjustment in the video. Its a Vhull, not a jon boat. Sorry for the mistake

Wood Rots!!!! Use aluminum next time. I've got a 14 foot Grumman DeepV that I want to convert. I don't want wood where wood gets wet.

Wood is also a lot heavier and you took out what little foam you had. Got add some floatation for all that extra weight

Obvious comment but building light is critical to getting the boat on plane. Minimum hp on your boat is 15hp two stroke. The two stroke is about 75-85# and more punch than a 4 stroke. Nothing worse than a boat that won’t get on plane. Takes forever to get anywhere and back again.
