I did the same work & a bunch of other stuff too. 8 years ago on mine. It's work. No doubt. But fun & enjoyable work. When your finished. & you can say. I did that ! It's all worth it when your on the water .

Doing this exact same thing to my 1984 Gregor Baja Special (15')! Great video, cannot wait to do it! Been wanting to do this for over a year since I inherited the boat from my Grandpa

It’s held up well! It’s gotten wet and rained on and it’s kept it’s hold. Try to keep it dry though as much as you can just because of natural wear and tear

I always use 2x4’s whit joist hanger to hold them
