Look into an Open Roads fuel card. It allows you to use the truck lanes (Dash would love that) at the big truck stops and gives you a discount on diesel fuel prices. Towing our Airstream out west from Georgia we’ve seen discounts from .20 cents to $1.05 a gallon at Loves, T/A, and Speedway. Glad you’re back in the Classic the van is to small for a family of three.

Happy to see you in the Airstream Classic again. OMG, Dash "sleep-eating" is hysterical.

We are visiting family in San Diego…..regular gas is over $4.50 a gallon! It just hurts. Glad you’re back in the Airstream, the good one 😉

I like the van. With a napping toddler who has diaper changes constantly….having your home with you all the time is worth it. It is easy compared to going back to RV park every time you need to eat or give your cute son a decent nap. I don’t like sitting shoulder to shoulder with big rigs. Plus the cost of RV parks that I don’t really don’t need with hook up. I save a lot of money avoiding RV parks.

I’m sorry but I’m so excited to see you back in your airstream, all of my best wishes for you in your airstream. I’m sorry for all the negative that has happened but watching you both come back to your airstream I was excited and happy for you. I know it’s a lot of work but you have all of my best wishes for you now. One of the reasons I started watching your KZread was because you were doing your airstream and I thought what a wonderful life

We are actually breathing a sigh of relief for you guys… more space, a known entity, and reliable transportation with the truck… love the sleepy Dash video. ❤

Since we met you at the International in Rock Springs, WY we have bought a Flying Cloud 30FB Office. I think we told you that our Bambi had suffered hail damage as well in a different hailstorm at our home in Colorado. While we were trying to figure out what to do with our poor Bambi, I contacted the Airstream of Utah dealership and talked to Madison. We had met her at the International Rally. She happened to mention that she had a Flying Cloud 30FB Office, brand new and it happened to have everything on it that we could possibly need for a very good price. So, we went to Salt Lake City over Labor Day weekend and picked it up. We love it and have been out to California in it already, plus a couple of other local trips. However, we still own the Bambi. We were thinking of renting it out, but now we are leaning towards selling it. The hail damage is only cosmetic. Anyway, we have completely outfitted the new Flying Cloud with all new equipment, so we will be selling the Bambi with all of its kitchen equipment, bedding, etc. A lot of time and expense, but worth it.

I'm so glad to see you back in your Airstream trailer! That van sucked!! Trailer looks like home sweet home! ❤

Technically you guys have always lived in an Airstream, the Classic and the Van. Glad they were able for find a transport able to help you. Hope you all get back adjusted after that European trip. Waffle cut fries for the win. I think you will enjoy the extra room. I think you will miss being able to just stop and walk to the back without going outside. Especially, not having to move Dash when he is asleep. Thank you for sharing and have a great day.

Trudy, we agree on the Airstream! As for turning Dash around, believe it or not, even though he's super tall, he's not quite heavy enough to turn around in the car seat according to the manufacturer, so we've been waiting. 🤷‍♀️

Was curious if any of your viewers could help you out with things you need; maybe Amazon delivery to the campground you are at currently or having the rally at?

This just feels more right! The AS Classic is home.❤ Dash is sooooo cute! He’s getting big, growing so fast.

Did you all get Dash a bed yet ? Love the classic… It’s weird about the diesel prices …years ago when there weren’t many diesel vehicles for cars and trucks for common uses

No one knows what the future holds but I am glad to see you 3 back in the airstream. Dash needs room to romp around. Not sure what is going to happen with the van life situation but I am sure that you will make a decision that will be the right thing for your family. Safe travels and God bless!!
