I always found it a bit strange and somewhat irritating that someone who would name his channel 'shogun' butchers the pronunciation of almost every Japanese word and name he uses. That can't happen here and 3C's videos contain only vital information, no redundant talk or other nonsense whatsoever, which is great.

Ghost is truly a beast of a ship, I'm so glad I watched this video, I didn't know any of this stuff or how to use them. In addition to that, every equipment has 3 tiers/rarity. SB2C for example has white(T1), blue(T2) and purple(T3) rarity. This also means there's no Gold rarity SB2C. Fairey Barracuda has blue(T1), purple(T2) and gold(T3).

I totally agree on the Steampunk-bias. ^^

I need Ark Royal in my life, her character design is amazing and that slow down debuff that she gives looks really useful for fast moving bosses like you said in the vid. But atm my priority is Akagi. I already got Kaga but Akagi be hiding from me. Thankfully I have the rest of the other Aircraft Carriers that you mentioned. Got Unicorn like 2 days ago and I was leveling Yorktown out of liking her overall without giving a damn about her stats LOL but good to know she gets a nice buff later on.

Actually we already got the buff for Yorktown along with the bomber buff, the advantages of the problems being figured out for us by CN and JP. Can confirm its a pretty busted skill. i can beat everything except 8-4's boss node with yorktown as solo backliner

Will do right after I'm done with Belfast and Unicorn's skill level up. Gonna level up Yorktown and probably Kaga or Leander on the second slot. Whoever I'm in the mood for the most.

does Hornet's second skill affects her first one? the extra air raid.

Tbh, I use Ranger a lot as a way to complete any battle up till now( starting chapter 5 soon) and while using the homing torp bombers, I found her insane damage super good. However, wherever I look everyone prefers enterprise and illustius. Why would you prefer them over the one click sollution for everything? Also, my homing torps only miss because the target dies too fast lol ;)

Yes. Also from your second question, your main fleet (consist of carriers, and battleships) is on your left screen. There is also an icon with their head on the left, they're your carriers/battleship.

Ark Royal is the next carrier I'll lvl up, and now after seeing this, I'll use her for later maps... Also, she has nice oppai, lol

no, but sometimes certain ships need those specific aircrafts to activate her skills eg. Formidable's first skill requires a Fairey Albacore, etc.

What is your opinion on Saratoga? I heard she becomes really good with her retrofit

Been debating on whether to pair Akaga with Hood or with Enterprise for PvP. I'm leaning towards Hood but I'm not too sure. Any advice?

Just look on your choise enemiez, If they have super anti air or reduce dmg coming from air craft , you pick hood. But If not like that, you pick enterprise.

hi 3c, i want ask something.... its possible to use shouhou and unicorn in 1 fleet? can their "support carrier" skill spammed 2 times in auto mode? my thought is, if the description say "After launching an airstrike, heal the Escort Fleet for 3.5% (8%) of their max HP" (After), i think they both can use their skill in the same fleet, its true?

yes both the healing skill works, but in general you don't want to run 2 healers in same fleet. Better to kill your enemy with DPS than trying to sustain in this game.

carriers have no way to defend themselves so I do not recommend running all carrier backline.

@@Just3c i run saratoga, repulse and cv kaga for the backline of my boss fleet and it works quite well. no boss fight lasted longer than 20 seconds in the event. and my front line of z23, z46 and hipper keeps most things away from the carriers. i think using 2 carriers makes it easier to clear maps since you get double the torp/bomb runs. and with 3 torp using ships in the front that also have good aa there isnt much that can reach the back line.

I hope the Essex Class versions Hornet and Yorktown will be added

well, the damage number listed in planes isn't completely useless. it's the basis of calculation for kamikaze damage in pvp....

Repair ships has few use to heal one heavily damaged ship each 5s (with cranes equipped) to provide 1 more ammo have 3 emergency damage control at MLB great AA ships as they have 2 AA gun slots As for individual uses Akashi and Vestal are very different Vestal is used for low cost farming(viable in CN only) as her skill will heal one heavily damaged ship each battle and that heal increase if target is Enterprise. Akashi is used to carry your team as she has 2 quite OP skill Anchorage repair where she heals the whole team each 35s based on her Max HP which can be buffed with repair toolkit and repair cranes. She also has a special exclusive item which increases her heals by 10% She also has reload command for frontline similar to Unicorn Her AA stats is very high and can bring down planes easily with 2 AA guns Recommended to MLB to increase her skill effectiveness The cons they have are they cannot defend themselves

Even sandy kai wont be enough when you first clear chapter 12. Hanger capacity just adds 1 maximum airstrike so after the first one is off cooldown the second airstrike cooldown starts to tick right away. you can hold 2 airstrikes and launch them together.

In PvP people usually put homing torp on Kaga.

Akaga is better in almost all case. crane good at prolonged fight, and you generaly dont want ptolonged fight especialy when farming

the common consensus seems to be "foxes for pvp, cranes for pve", since pve fights can be long enough for zuikaku and shoukaku to get some stacks

I have a question. I have read/watched every carrier guide in existence. And they have all said the same. The dmg number on aircraft is useless. However, isn't that number indicate an amount of "kamikaze" attack damage when they reach edge of the map ? Sure, it is really useless in PvE since there is no edge for us player's planes. Sure, it is hard to detemine it accurately since the number would be modified by Carrier's aviation stat, aircraft's remaining HP and target's anti-air stat. But is it actually debunked that this is not the case ?

no, the kamikaze number is wildly different across different aircrafts. Most of them are around 100-200 range, while barracuda have the highest 480 kamikaze dmg. The dmg number is literally useless.

Thoughts about Graf Zeppelin? I like her design and planning using her a lot once she's out.

yeah she was garbage a while ago, but the recent bomb buff made her top tier. The only problem is she is kinda expensive, she requires using german aircraft, so you gotta use more parts to enhance 2 JU-87C Bomber just for her.

yeah, currently all the ironblood backliners are from the "opposite color" event. That event is supposed to be the 2nd event we have, but seems like global will go for fallen wing next, so I expect that to be the 3rd event.

Enterprise Vs enterprise in PvP is the real luck test

they are okay in pvp, but don't expect them to win against any top tier meta team.

I have been watching the bar that is next to the carrier for a long time already, I thought it looked cool. Until I decided to search it up and then it's a bar to make sure you don't expose your carriers. I felt bad for my carriers now...

In your opinion, which is better overall fighter, reppu or hellcat, since hellcat>reppu in terms of dmg and hp whole reppu>hellcat in terms of speed just by 0.39 sec

in practice I found reppu to be better than hellcat, the aircraft hp doesnt matter they dont get shot down anyways.

how about hornet and saratoga? yes i agree yorktown is very underrated. And basically Lusty is used only for support and not as damage dealer?

Hornet is too much about RNG, if both her skill procs she can do more than Enterprise but the chance is low. Saratoga retrofit is alrdy a top tier ship i dont think people underrate her at all. Lusty has 6/0/2 aircraft comp, 6 fighters arent very good for damage output, she is very defensive with shield/high anti-air.

Tearsal Crystalfallen in my experience they are above decent. I would say they’re like poor man’s foxes. I maybe wouldn’t bring them into pvp but I use a level 90 Hiryuu (since she’s low key my favorite) all the time in 1:1 pve stuff and she does fine.

Actually, duo Fox sister+Hood > Duo Fox sister + Enterprise due to Hood barrage and reload buff. Hood + buffed already fast reload Fox duo can finished off Enterprise team like ash.

i dont think there is a difference at Lv100, but I run 1 steam catapult 1 oil tank

I have an Enterprise but I'm not using her, because every pvp I encounter has her and I can easily sink her

her main weakness is basically being a coin-flip in pvp, but since you can retry battles infinite times without penalty, it doesn't matter^^

While akagi and kaga launches faster, they only damage half or less hp on vanguard (especially with belfast smoke timing matching it) Crane sisters would wipe away the enemy team because their timing is in Helena's radar scan timing. Well except if the enemy is enterprise but 1 vs 6 ain't fair you know no matter how OP it is The real problem to crane sisters is fkin Eldridge....
