Don't they become BBV as well? what makes them better aside from hyuga's buff. Also have the devs stated anything about revisiting BBV's to buff them? or the seaplanes?

hyuuga's BBV form has a skill to shoot down fire boats every 10 seconds which seems to be enough for her.

so is the main problem of BBV that they can no longer shoot down boats or that they split their damage between the planes and cannon?

i started this game 2-3 weeks ago but i still doubt to retrofit my ship. and this guide clears my doubt. thankyou. this is the first time i see your video and i found it really nice. i prefer to read instructions rather than hear someone telling me what to do. and i like how you choose a simple EDM for backsound.

If you don't mind, would you do a video about what stuffs are recommended to save for EN players? I've seen contradictory opinions on whether sakura and ironblood gold boxes should be saved until gold torp aux and magtorp get released. Also, there were recommendations to save oils in mail until events that require hard farming comes, I'd like to know which events to save oil for and to farm what. There's also a recommendation to save gems for second floor expansion, but I see ship exp not being something I want to prioritize getting (in my case, I'm farming too much ships to lv100 that I don't have enough time in the day to get their skill levels up to lv10, even with 3 academy slots). Maybe also include ships that are worth to save cubes for - purely in battle performance point of view, but there are probably too many to list...

true, but you want morale for that 20% bonus exp anyway. spending gems so that you can abuse your phoenix more than you already could seems kind of wasteful after all. Late game, we're going to farm maps where we can't do 1-1 low oil cost anymore and we'll sooner exhaust our oil reserve than exhaust the ship's morale. This isn't true yet in global's hardest map - the dyed in red's D3 event map, but it's getting close there.

If you have two-three fleets with decent purple gear then you should be saving gold boxes for torp aux. When it comes to oil for events, avoiding the oil commission that requires 1000+ oil is enough to where you won't really be struggling for oil. Only level up important skills first. If you have them, try to find ships with unique skills that maybe only they have compared to the rest of your dock. Leveling up Leanders skill when you have Brooklyn or leveling up Cygnet's skill when you have Fortune aswell can sometimes be a waste of books if you aren't sure which direction you want tot go in. Leveling up skills with significant increases in percentage per level should be prioritized aswell. If you're on global and don't have shoukaku yet then I recommend doing your daily 3 pulls and no more than that. Every day do three pulls for 200 Ema and until you get her don't stop pulling. That way, you maximise the amount of ema you can get per cube rather than just pulling all at once. Once you get her then stop pulling and save your cubes, for your daily pull only do light construction as it only costs 1 cube and you get that cube back for completing the mission asking for it. I've pulled shoukaku and am now saving cubes for the next event. Bit long but hopes this helps.

Hey, I want you're opinion. I collect many common ship qnd rare ship and leveling up. But now my dock its full and cant fit anymore. So its worth to buy dock expand and save them or just retire all common except leander, abukuma and another good for retrofit base?

ye you will need to expand dock eventually, but you dont need to level up duplicates, i dont think global is at the point where your dock is too full.

portland retro just have extremely high stats, so her survivability is insane (double or even triple the effective hp compare to other heavy cruisers)

hyuga retro is very good, but she is kinda niche because she no longer counts as a battleship so you cant use her in shiplock situations.

playing from germany on global / NA ( I assueme) there is no Retrofit button on my game, do i have to fully limitbreak them before ?

No, most ships on Global/NA just don't have retrofit. If you think it still does not exist, try checking Suffolk or Ranger.

If you retrofit a ship you can't go back to the previous skin right? Aka de default skin

am extremely late but just in case u still didnt know, you can go back to the default skin. it'll be in the skin section of that specific ship and u can swap between the 2

1:28 warspite can also be retrofited but not in EN server yet (I don't know about CN server but she can be in the JP server) (so you know :])

hyuga/ise retrofit are both super good. They get a massive boost in Anti-air (above 370AA At Lv120), with very high main gun efficiency to make up for that -1 main gun base.

Question: This is regarding the ability "All out assault: ___". If Character A has "all out assault B", Character B has "all out assault B", and character C has "all out assault B". Do they need to have Character B in the group? Will it work, or does it not, and or if the effect is diminished.

all out assult is an extra barrage triggered when that ship fired their main gun x time, have nothing to do with other ships.

I mostly did my saratoga for her art but when i saw Witch's Prank unlock at the retrofit final step i immediately started rushing it just to unlock😂😂

no, retrofit is just extra stats/skill added to your ship, nothing else changes.

Can say Saratoga has been released. If I remember correctly she was a reward for your first time purchasing gems. Might also be a random drop. Not sure. All I know is I have one waiting to be leveled up.

Wth man, I keep hearing about sandy retrofit but THERES NO BLOODY OPTION FOR IT! Can someone please help me with this?! It’s been driving me nuts! I have her at 6 stars, max affection (not pathed yet) and ready to retro her! Someone please help!

Just something to point out...The average dmg output of HMS Centaur is higher than USS Ranger. But HMS Centaur is only recently added to non-global servers, and her equipment slots resemble a CV instead of CVL, not to mention HMS Centaur is SR as well XD.

centaur is at least 9month away for global, so for dat 9 month Ranger is the best CVL, and Ranger is more fuel efficient.

ye, Ranger is pure offensive, Long Island have more anti-air power with AA gun+Fighter combination.

Hilarious as currently I have about 10x Gold/T3 DD, CA, CL & BB blueprints...but I seriously lack T2 blueprints so that has gotten me soft-capped with a lot of ships partially retrofitted awaiting T2 BPs. Given you can only do hard mode 6x per day (and not even a guarantee BP drop) makes it an immensely time consuming & frustrating process.

And the Meme exploded.

Is it worth it to convert up blue blueprints to purple?

if you need them yes. Retrofitting common/rare tier girls require a lot of t1 Blueprints so you might run out if you convert too much.

hyuuga is top tier, ise is okay. both are above average ships with high AA, great performance in chapter 12 and we probably wont get them anytime soon on global.

I have a few questions I wonder if anyone here can help me with: 1- Is it possible to rank up equipment similar to ships? (Can you for instance raise an airplane from 3 to 4 stars or higher overtime?) 2- Which ship duo is better: Akagi/Kaga OR Shoukaku/Zuikaku? (I'm going to try for both of course, but this question's answer determines how hard I do so. Also, for the example, let's say which of the 2 duos would do better when teamed up with Enterprise?) 3- Further regarding Enterprise: Would it be better to raise a duplicate and then have 2 Enterprises to use in 2 separate fleets? Or just use any such duplicates for golds on limit breaking? 4- What's the most efficient way to farm for parts? I'm trying to fulfill a side mission that requires me to make my own equipment, and I keep trying to farm, but it seems the missions I'm doing aren't dropping enough blueprints. Are there ships that give bonuses or any ways to affect this or are there missions or ship battle types that are known for dropping more stuff (and I mean that apart from the boss battles)?

1. no you cannot rank up equipments 2. akagi/kaga is for pvp, crane sisters is more for pve. 3. No, i dont think having 2 enterprise help too much, you rarely use more than 1 carrier in PVE due to bombing ships. 4. currently the best parts farming spot is 6-1, you can do it with fairly low cost.

1- Really? That kinda sucks. It also makes building equipment seem less appealing don't you think? (Unless you're somehow actually ABLE to build 5-stars or higher). 2- I see. That's good news. Since I'm not super into PvP yet I guess it isn't as big of a deal atm. 3- I figured I'd ask. I mean, I get it. But it always seemed that whenever people talk about loadouts, the carriers are what they seemingly tend to focus on. I hardly hear anyone talking about battleships. That actually brings me to another question: 3.5- Do you have any recommendations for battleships? (That might be a good topic to make a video for) (At present I have... from strongest to weakest level-wise: Oklahoma, Hyuuga, Nelson, California, Nevada, Repulse, Ise, Yamashiro, and most recently Fusuou.) 4- That's pretty deep in. At present I have only just unlocked 4-1. But still, this is useful information, so thank you for your help.

There was one other thing I forgot to ask about. It's a bit more simple than the rest, but still I wanted to ask just in case: Obviously the battleship-carrier hybrid conversions are another story, but with regards to the standard ships getting retrofits... Are we able to swap back and forth between their skins after we retrofit them?
