Just started getting into the game after hearing about it from your intro video on Azur Lane, and I've been having a good time. Looking forward to more of your guides!

I just learned more about the game in 10 mins, that I have from playing the actual game for 10 hours. Huge thanks.

Really useful guide :3 I didn't understand some things about equipment so I was just going with the most rare ones and comparing stats with each other when changing them by I didn't know the actual difference between ammos and the planes stats so I wasn't using my equipment at its max potential. After doing some changes thanks to this video, my main fleet now is devouring enemies like cookies. Also, while I don't dislike people who talk about things in the videos, I believe this type of "text-guides" are more fun and immediate. Like, you know, I'm not an english native-speaker so certain things could not entirely reach my ears. If I just have to read, it's better. In my opinion.

So for every front line ship small spread range is priority?(destroyers and cruisers?) I have higher rarity items but the spread is a lot higher than some blues items I have so I'm not sure which to use.

About dive bombers - "Higher tier number" - 1 higher then 3? And what mean have fire rate on bombers (all planes)?

I'm confused. Do you only equip a main on heavy and light cruisers? I only see a secion for the Auxiliary guns for Battleships and Torpedos for Destroyers. Am I missing something?

so as for resource management just build ships I guess? and I just started today thanks to your recommendation and im a bit confused on the missions like defeat escort fleet for example on 1-2 im on 2/5 even tho i killed everything so is it a necessity to rerun stages for that or am i missing something?

yeah build until you can assemble one fleet first. You need to rerun stages to finish all the stars for a stage.

ok thanks and as for the one fleet im pretty much working to just get one made out of the ships you recommended in ur beginners guide and should we fill up a fleet or try to save oil by running few ships as long as we manage the levels?

Is it a good idea to keep all gold and purple weapons if not which one u want to get rid of

Does anyone know what the "fire rate" on the bombers/fighters means? The numbers seem way off from what the cooldown times really are

Reload is just how fast your main gun fires on reloading, and it not necessary for you main fleet to have reload you want them to have Hit/ACC so they wont miss their shots as often. For your carriers increased aviation and torpedo def is good till later on when they'll need burn heal hp regen. For you vanguard increased reload is good, but it best to give them HP/EVA aux equip to survive longer.

Regarding event equipment such as event f4u event Brit torpedo bomber and event A7m1 plane how do they rank (could event equipment and core equipment be added if you redo it or for other tutorials

Hello there Honkai 3C, i've been playing azur lane for a little over a month on the NA server and have always watched your azur lane videos, firstly i want to say thank you for making guides for this game especially on gear types, since they're the most confusing part.... Anyways for auxiliary equipment, i was curious about the ones that jp and cn have so i decided to do a little research, and i found a few good auxiliary equipment from the wiki and often mentioned by veterans to be one of the best gear in azur lane. One of the most mentioned is the pure oxygen torpedo or the "Torp Stick" are they really that good? And the same question goes with the white shells and black shells.

the SSR torp stick gives +100 torp stats so its an OP aux. SR White shells also super op for battleships. Blackshells are okay, not too great.

I tend to like having a larger spread during pvp because the fking at misses every shot regardless of evasion when I use the low spread weapons. So I use the low spread I can actually control the units

Thanks for the easy guide! I'm still kinda new so I have some questions. How much does efficiency matter? Can I still use a weapon with only 70 %? Also, what does lock and bracketing mean?

efficiency is multiplied on that weapon's final damage. So higher efficiency=higher dmg. lock and bracketing are firing methods, they dont matter much.

do I put the best AA guns on the front or back vanguard?

Have you considered creating a Google Doc to help track changes patch by patch? It would probably help with increasing channel views and keeping this video relevant throughout the game changes.

I was using the 356mm quadruple gun for 6 month now,without knowing that it is bad but it stull serve me well and I don't have to change into so I am stuck with it

most of these guns listed are normal rarity?

So is the Yellow quad 356 gun worse than a blue 406? It outclasses it in pretty much everything in terms of stats

you can try to use quad 356 and you will see why its so bad, its literally the worst gun in the game.

ARGH idk if I'll ever be able to remember what icon means what for each ship type lol

For ayanami use the twin 100mm aa gun, high firerate so activate the barrage faster, and plus Ayanami has shit firepower so dont get the high dps, go for high RoF

For higher RoF in ayanami you can try single 76 mm gun, 0.76 sec/volley

probably should check out the new guide. There has been equipment added since this video's release. You can also check out other equipment guides that are updated more frequently

This is outdated. If you play Auto, The Triple 152mm is the better choice compare to Triple 155mm despite being an AP. The belfast gun really has a stupidly wide spread that it can only works on Manual. Triple 155mm only works for Belfast but other than her, this gun sucks.
