I feel like your info is off.. when 4c hair fully freeforms our hair forms into thick congos. With loose curls you might get big sections but it won’t be thicker or as full as 4c because course is more dense

I’m not even trying to get dreads but I enjoy watching these videos

Throw the comb away, just keep your hair clean & moisturized, and it will lock itself, my hair is about 3B/3C, within 2-4 weeks my hair began to lock, mainly the back with them creeping to the sides, the front of my hair hasn't locked yet, probably because of me having my hair tied back causing tension and straitening out my hair in the front preventing it from being able to do it's thing, so if you're planning on freeforming, just let it do it's thing don't mess with it much just keep it clean and moisturized, although again you can always opt for another locking method, which would be quicker and result in a different overall look, which would probably br a bit more uniform although less unique than free-form locks

what abt grease?

Create one with JBCO and peppermint oil and I bet ppl will see a lot of growth with those as well as they half grow hair more and faster then drs treatments. But also I take biotin and even without the biotin my hair grows 8-9 inches a year. I measure my hair from a complete buzz cut after two years my hair was 15-18 inches long
