YESS!! In Indonesia we also do the same thing. Sometimes people decorate the glass with chocolate-sweetened condensed milk on the inside of the glass. It's yummy, creamy, and sweet

As a Mexican, I would not suggest eating avocados this way. I understand many countries would prefer different ways to eat 🥑 but I wonder if this way actually makes the avocado taste different?

I'm not surprised. Brazil has some really good tropical fruits too and their breakfast usually contains decent portions of fruit.

I made this every week with avocados, regular milk, condensed milk, and assorted jelly. It is yummy.

I like avocados and i would buy alot but i ended losing most of them due to claimet extremely high or low. I learned to get a bag full with water and put the avocado inside, it actually works! I forgot 1 for 4 weeks and it was pretty and green and i used it. Now i have a refrigerator for veggies only. No more waisted avocado 😅. Now i will try avocado desert! 😂🥰😋Thanks

A local vietnamese restaurant has this, they call it an avacado shake and it is delicious!

Most Vietnamese restaurant you’ll have avocado smoothie. This drink is part of ours along with many other countries. Though of course you’ll see this drink more often in a Vietnamese restaurant.

I made this smoothie every week and it was way cheaper & delicious than the restaurant one. I bought an 8.5lbs bottle of assorted jelly from eBay to make this avocado smoothie every week.

Yeah in my country Philippines we see avocado as desserts so I was kinda shocked that some people use it as main dish and some eating it just like that. No wonder some people hate avocados 😆 while us making it as sweets.

Not entirely sure given that this combination is incredibly common both in the middle east as well as some asian countries where this combination is even a traditional recipe (like Philippines)! But yea either way a heavenly combination I am very grateful for, hahah

Actually this recipe was made by vietnamese, in around 1800s the french brought condensed milk into vietnam, and its became popular so it was in almost every desert. condensed milk was introduced sometimes later (1920-ish) in latin america. Ig the asian did this first.

The condensed milk is an American product. Used in wartime for its shelf life. Was brought to Germany first I believe. So you’re both wrong.

I use oat milk and add honey.

Avocado tastes nice and creamy. Too bad that i get sore throat right after drink only half cup of avocado smoothie. Have been avoiding them since then.

no need for a blender. We just put everything in a cup, but saving the ice for last and just use a spoon to mash the avocado and mix. sometimes you get big chunks of avocado. very delicious. btw, we have bigger and more creamier avocado in Vietnam. no offense 😅

Well Asia is a huge continent. Avocado shakes are common in Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines.

In the future I did say I’d like to see Rie follow a recipe in French but I want to ask, does anyone think French is too easy even for a Japanese speaker like her?

I've done this with avocado, banana and honey for years. I make popcicles with the mix too. Very nice and creamy. Skip the condensed milk. Way too much processed sugar.

Dont call it an Asian culture. 🥑 is not a Common fruit in here, its very rare in Southern asia. I have never tasted Avocado. Though the smoothie looks delicious

Mango is creamy and creamy plus sweet makes good drinks. That's why there are also avocado ice cream and avocado in fruit soup bowl. I've also known avocado as a dessert thing all my life, so it was surprising for me when other people from other country think of it as a savory food.
