Would you rather have her sing standing still and inexpressive, its a performance my friend . Im a 67 yr old and nothing warms my heart and soul like watching Aurora perform her song's and Ive seen her live 5 times and going to see her twice more this year.

You are a lucky guy! I will see her in September for the first time! And I can´t wait for it! Then I will be 68 yr old - but it is never too late!

You are quite lucky. Sometimes hard for new reactors to "get her". She expresses all her emotions and feelings in whatever she sings....she is a unique performer, she is who she is and no one like her. Just standing in front of a Mic and moving your mouth can be done by anyone, rather boring...... Aurora is never boring. Enjoy your shows with Aurora.

Hi, I am also a U.S. Navy Vietnam Vet just turning 75. I'm also a musician, and have seen countless performers. I can tell you that in all those years I have never encountered anyone that can affect me as deeply as Aurora can. Her writing, delivery, and vocal skills are off the charts. From the very first time I heard/saw her, ("Runaway" at the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize concert) which left me stunned, staring at my monitor after it ended wondering "What did I just see?....and she did this LIVE?" She is a very special person, and I can understand that it's just possible that she may not resonate with absolutely everyone. You have every right to your opinion of course, but I suggest you give her some more listening. BZ on the video though!

Come on...Aurora is expressing her self thrue her body and soul. So pure and honest. Nothing strange about that. Some people just have to open their minds to the world. This young artist brings love and goodness to the world. Her voice is from heaven . I hope thar one day you can se that and understand it with your heart. Cheers from a finn in Sweden.

Yes, her hand movements are uniq. I find them more "strange and strong" the earlyer in her carrier you get. She did not realise thar she did it before she watched a video of herself, she have said that she can't controll it. There is so much emotions and messages in her tiny body (her words) that she has to use her intire self to get it out. 😊

I feel that special recognition should be made for your truly one-of-a-kind reaction to this performance. I have watched countless many reactions to this specific video - and yours is the VERY first one to express a dislike (of ANY aspect of it). Some have noted that this artist has a quite unique performance style, idiosyncratic fashion sense and more - but, none so far, that I have watched, were put-off by any of that. It goes to show that Nature is full of surprises - (that includes human nature). What I thought was a triumph of transcendent artistic beauty, that has moved many to tears by its gripping, almost primal emotive appeal - turns out to have finally been met by one who truthfully declares that he just doesn't get it. Thank you for your service and enlightening honesty. Cheers!

Aurora is a Viking songstress that uses her movements to enhance the story she is telling with her beautiful voice and is firmly entrenched in my top 5 vocalists list along with Daneliya Tuleshova, Angelina Jordan, Charlotte Summers, and Diana Ankudinova keep up the good work !! 👍😎.

A French Guy's Reactions First time Reaction to Aurora documentary Once Aurora Part 1 ! Loved it ! Amazing ! kzread.info/dash/bejne/X5WItMmldcqpipM.html ... Part 2 ! From struggling to embracing ! kzread.info/dash/bejne/mJ581rZql6vXgdI.html la chanson "Forgotten Love" ici ; à la TV NRK kzread.info/dash/bejne/eYOAtcqknKiTmMY.html ... ses danses sont exceptionnelles !

I truly love and respect your honesty ❤. That makes this culture of reacting on youtube meaningful. And triggers interesting conversations. Because we are all a little different and despite the fact that we all belong to the human race, we perceive things differently. I also believe Aurora herself would really enjoy your reaction 😂. I guess compared to other artists that you like, she doesn't come forward as you expect, and it kinda puts you off. She is rather unique. Though not in a pretentious, calculated way. She just expresses her emotions without a filter. Most people like it and some doesn't. There are so many artists out there that are brilliant singers and performers, but they all put on an act to entertain. She doesn't. She is just a warm, wise and truly caring human being that expresses her true emotions about a subject. IF, you decide to give her more tries, I wouldn't be surprised if you also eventually get addicted. But if not, that's perfectly OK too. 🫶🏻🙏🏻😊.

Ah, tastes and colors. About her hands movements (her overall body movements when singing), just listen privately to what she said one day, early in her career, about it, and her way to say it (about 30s, before the song start): AURORA - Conqueror (Red Bull session): kzread.info/dash/bejne/mHiK2cOkfZqzqLQ.html I think this other song shows it well, the way her body moves sometimes with the music, and other times seems to ponctuate (and/or illustrate) her words, going from one to the other a bit in chaos. Just driven by her emotions. Aurora - Under the Water (Live on the Honda Stage): kzread.info/dash/bejne/rIp7s7mwZKTWZtI.html She was very uneasy at her begining when performing live, and she immersed herself totally in her songs. With time going, it became more tamed, so to speak. But these emotions (or whatever it is) still have to express, I guess. I just don't see the problem, personally I enjoy it all a lot, but again tastes and colors. If you wish, give a try, through a reaction video, to this one, full of physical expressions too, but with a vocal tone a bit less high: AURORA - MURDER SONG (5,4,3,2,1) - The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert: kzread.info/dash/bejne/qJxktbmNhtq-qNo.html Anyway, thanks for reacting to Aurora, who's such a "weird" singer.🙂

Aurora is a trained dancer and uses interpretive movements to help tell her story. She wears a lot of thrifted clothing that her sister (a fashion designer) helps to modify. You are the first person I have ever encountered that doesn't understand Aurora. haha. That's ok, though! Aurora makes music for the people who need to hear her message the most, and it's not always for everyone.

Hey Paul, "ethereal" is the right word in my opinion. If I had to compare - which is not easy because she is somehow unique - I would say that she reminds me most of Enya. As for the hand movements and movements in general - apart from the facts that others have mentioned, I think her previous career as a dancer also has an influence. Today it seems like it is more under control and fits well with her vocal performance (the concert in Nidaros Cathedral took place in late 2017). But to be honest - for me the vocal performance is more important than the "surroundings", and a voice like that is not often found. I see that you have more requests in your list, maybe the impression will change once you have seen (and especially heard) more.

Hi, I'm 71, just a kid, and I appreciate Aurora, though my daughter is like you. She finds her movements distracting. However, I danced ballet for many years, and I think of Aurora as a performance artist, not just as a singer. Perhaps this will help you to appreciate an artist who gives so much of herself for her art. There are some songs that are absolutely spellbinding, ie: Murder Song, It Happened Quìet, and The Seed. You might start with "The Seed" as the other two songs are more difficult for beginners. You don't have to appreciate Aurora as I do. I'm sure you will love some performers that I won't like. Thank you for your reactions.

😂😂😂😂 really??? You doesn’t know why she is moving “ like that “😂😂😂. Well, didn’t see any reaction in your face. Please just open your heart and receive her music and your will be filled by female spirit- you need it! The damage war does to people- and totally unnecessary wars like USA has been doing- like Vietnam - has done so much harm to all creatures and Mother Earth. So we need Aurora to start healing- no more crucifixen gods like the christan faith. Let Mother Earth heal your heart ❤️
