Aurora - Through the Eyes of a Child - Reaction - Wow. Simply, Wow.

Aurora sings like an angel, so I get the chance to eavesdrop on this sacred moment in the sanctuary where she belongs. What an amazing song. Join me in witnessing this incredible performance.

I think we love watching aurora reactions because it’s so validating.. like yeah, I’m not the only one who’s like “wtf just happened” after listening to her performances 😅 a magical trance. It hits home for me. I call it soul singing. I believe we all share the same or similar soul, so, if we are in touch with our own, her music tends to be very touching indeed

Im a 67 year old man. she makes me cry every time I hear her sing. one thing I have never heard anyone reviewing her mention is the incredible video production. most notable in murder 54321 when she sings the words "I'm gone" the camera fads to a blur then they pull in tight and sharp to enhance her facial expressions.

I'm a heavy metal fan being absolutely blown out by AURORA. She is out of this world. My whole chest was shaking during listening to this for the first time. And it's not only her voice, she's pure inside and out. She somehow taught me a few good things about myself and it's really tough to influence me in such a way she did. Can't wait to see her this summer live.

This is the third Aurora video I've seen you watch. I'm already having a blast watching you react to her. I'm a 45 year old male Jazz fanatic/wanna-be musician from Texas and when I discovered her through other reaction channels it was like I discovered Miles Davis again or something. She is the most unique vocalist I've seen in a long time. Eivor, Floor Jansen, Aurora... I wouldn't have found these artists without reaction channels like yours. Keep it up. I'm really enjoying this. Subscribed... good lord this woman rips my heart out in the most violently gentle way I've ever experienced. The themes and ideas that she writes about aren't even touched on by most adult 'artists'. She makes me question my definition of what an artist is and looks to convey.

I didn't know about Aurora until she featured in a video game named "Sky: Children of the Light". The creators of the game used her image to create a "Spirit" avatar of her and used her songs to create a concert with their own graphics and the story behind the game. In the game, the is a scene of a battle, with children and light creatures dying and this song was used on that scene and the afterwards of the war. My God. I cried and cried, and still cry every time I heard this song. It is a masterpiece. The game brought me to her and I am hooked. Aurora is a light spirit. I am so grateful to the game for immortalizing her. Look it up. It is amazing.

I'm Swedish, so this smarts a bit to admit, my two favorite female artists are both Norwegian. One of them is Aurora, "the earth fairy" that you have already discovered. The other is Angelina Jordan, "the barefoot princess of jazz". Angelina won "Norway's got talent" at the age of eight (8) by singing jazz standards (to see her winning song search for: Angelina Jordan - Summertime - 2014). She has since then only gotten better and better and is now fifteen years old and signed by a major label as their most important new artist. (To see her sing an original song at fifteen, search for: Angelina Jordan - seventh heaven, or Angelina Jordan - Million Miles, to see her cover some of the greats I can recommend her versions of I Put A Spell On You, Good Bye Yellow Brick Road, Crazy, I'd rather Go Blind, All I Ask or How Great Thou Art among many, many others. I assure you that you will be astonished by this young lady too. Another deep rabbit hole I'm afraid...

@@larryshair Hi Larry, you can stay stateside, she lives in LA now... 😉👍 And as I already stated in my original post, you will be absolutely amazed by this wonder of the world. She has the ability to take any song she wants and give it her own spin (she has arranged all her own music since the age of seven, the studio musicians and orchestras she's worked with affectionately calls her "The Boss"). She always performs barefoot (she met a little girl working as a street vendor in the middle east that had no shoes on when she was six and after giving this girl her own boots (her favorite ones...) she vowed to never stand on a stage with shoes on until all the children n the world had a pair of shoes of their own (hence the moniker "barefoot princess of jazz). She is a published author (the youngest in ever in Norway), she speaks several languages, plays several instruments and is humble and sweet to all around her. She is the sole driving force behind her own success and has helped raise millions of dollars for charity. Her fans, of which there are many, are called "angels" and they are devoted to her (I count myself among them). Her latest releases are two covers, the first one is Yesterday by the Beatles and the second is Billie Jean by Michael Jackson. And speaking of Michael Jackson, she was invited by Quincy Jones to sing at his 85 birthday celebration, and he later exclaimed that she is the biggest natural talent he has seen since Michael...soo... 👍😁

Hi Larry - I just finished watching all three of your Aurora reactions, and I am so enjoying watching you fall in love with her and her music! She is really something special. Aurora is the total package - singer, songwriter, musician, dancer, producer/arranger, choreographer, and an absolutely lovely human being (and she’s just 25 years old!). She will often perform her songs quite differently - sometimes with her band, other times stripped down to just her and one instrument, a cappella, with full orchestra, etc. - so it is definitely worth listening to different versions of the same song. Although she is amazing live, her videos are mini-masterpieces as well. You might enjoy reacting to two versions of the same song in the same video to get a fuller picture of her talent. A short list of original songs: Runaway - Nobel Peace Prize concert and her music video Through the Eyes of a Child - Nidarosdomen concert, my recommendation Live Stripped - VIVO UK Lift: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dXqup9qOfpS0aKw.html It Happened Quiet - Nidarosdomen concert, but I'd recommend the live at The Current version as well: kzread.info/dash/bejne/a4lhsJiFod3KebA.html Churchyard - Live on KEXP Winter Bird - Nidarosdomen concert and her music video Murder Song 5,4,3,2,1 - Nobel Peace Prize Concert Lucky - Nidarosdomen concert Little Boy in the Grass - Nidarosdomen concert The Seed - Music Video, HAIK Concert The River - Music video, Live in Bergen 2020 Exist For Love - Music video, Daydreamer - Music video She also does some awesome covers: Life on Mars - David Bowie Believer - Imagine Dragons God is a Woman - Ariana Grande Across the Universe - John Lennon Teardrop - Massive Attack

Hey Larry......back again..... I love this song and Aurora SO MUCH and of course I love YOUR reaction to it..... I'm going to ask you a favor..... Maybe you can get to it in the next month or so (hopefully less) I know you know the song "Runaway" from at least Nidarosdomen and also The Peace Prize concert..... There is another version, very different, but of course the same..... It was during the Covid lockdowns and she did it "in her home" It's her, her greatest backup singer Silja, and their newest guitar player....I hate I forget his name..... It's just him on the acoustic and the two greatest team singers to live..... It is SUCH A GREAT version Larry!!!!!!! I guarantee you'll love it and more than likely shed a tear...... Hope all is well with you.......

I've always interpreted the last part of the song as a vocalization of a baby's cry. For some those cries are unnerving but this is what I imagine those cries sound like for the mother of the baby. Crying is the most vulnerable innocent and honest form of communication known to humanity. And we as a grown adults should practice it more then we are. We should not be afraid to show true emotions that overflow in us. They are beautiful. And Aurora expands on this thought in her song called The River.

This song and so many others Aurora has gifted us, always results in me being a sobbing mess, and I am grateful and humbled by it. Every single time, hidden emotions become revealed again, unlocked and released, each experience is so deeply healing and beautiful. Sharing connections through these moments, seeing and reading how another person is reflecting responses so similar to my own, amplifies the significance for me. Knowing these personal feelings are real for so so many is reassuring, calming and just a remarkable reminder how strongly our innate humanity binds us to hold empathy and love and kindness for another soul. Thank you for sharing your Aurora journey with such care and vulnerability. Be well. 🤍🕊

To be a fan of this earth angel is to know what love empathy and compassion is. She genuinely just knows how to get into your heart. She goes to another world and then comes back. She is tapping into something else in her music. It truly just makes you want to do better and be a better human.

I do not see any videos where you react to the MOST PERFECT PERFORMER in the world. He will move you to tears, he will shock you, he will make your heart soar, you will never be the same again after watching Dimash Kudaibergen (27) from Kazakhstan perform. As with Aurora - he too, conveys every word of every song with his body, hands, facial expressions, and when it comes to his voice - well, this is a once in a lifetime phenomenon and I doubt we will see again......My suggestion is that you start with his performance in the Chinese version of The Singer - he was invited as an outsider to perform and he won the entire Chinese audience over with his magnificence - and from this event he was (and is being) discovered by the rest of the world. Most of his performances are performed live and each one that you watch is more perfect than the one that you watched before. So I am adding a link to his stellar performance of SOS from the Singer competition which is from Gloria Wu's very informative channel - kzread.info/dash/bejne/ppqTt6t6f7rMcbg.html ☮❤️ Sea Point, Cape Town, South Africa

Aurora often sings without words, and at times she also creates her own emotional language in songs. They are of no known language and she doesn't translate them for us, which is just fine. It happened quiet at nidarosdamin is not her best. I and many others prefer her Live at the current version of It Happened Quiet. I love the Nidarosdamen concert in its entirety for its setting, the orchestra, and the choir, but it's one of her earlier in her career performances and her voice and style choices have matured. Though Boy in the Grass, and Lucky are still amazing at this concert.
