To the war paint in Aurora's face. That actually has meaning. Not only for the song but in general. Under the eye stands for tears and laterally from the eye for smile. Showing the inner emotions to the outside.

To see Aurora in her element you must be acquainted with her through the HAIK documentary and the final concert. It is set in a forest she played in as a child… she would get lost a lot in it. I believe the nature spirits communed with her here. She could not be more in her true element. ☺️

Aurora calling her warriors to action. Aurora is dressed like a character from one of the sci fi / fantasy novels she likes to read. In her studio work the vocals, including layering like the whispering, are all Aurora, whereas other artists are involved when she performs live. My suggestion for you is to react to “I went too far” live on the Honda stage.

Larry, paused at 3:22, just a comment before even see your reaction. Lots of comments about the HAIK. Haik is a Norwegian spelling, in an audio script way, of the english word hike, as in hitch hiking, to catch a ride. In this context, HAIK is a tv series celebrating our most known and influential artists. The concept is to take the artist on a ride for a day of pleasant surprises and then arrange a concert with the artist, and some of their most eager fans, them not knowing where, with whom. Great series.

@@larryshair It is really better if you look at documentation and concert together and do not look at anything from the Haik concert individually beforehand. Especially for "the seed", you need the context to the documentation to understand Aurora's reactions to certain events in the songs. Otherwise, you lack the extra emotional power for what happens there. This is both together with subtitles. kzread.info/dash/bejne/oJOpuY9peKe9n8Y.html

Aurora is the architect of all her music and the videos. She really is quite amazing. Oh and good luck steering clear of anything political, she is quite outspoken about her causes such as the environment, BLM and LGBTQ (she identifies as bi-sexual). Honestly these are just human issues and politicizing them makes no sense - we should be arguing about the best way to achieve these goals not whether they are valid goals or not.

Hi, thank you so much for another great Aurora reaction video and a happy national rabbit day. I really enjoy to be a part of your Aurora journey. Aurora is my favorite female artist. Maybe you would like to take a look at my favorite male artist too. His name is Hua Chenyu and he is a chinese artist, singer, composer. He is very versatile and as Aurora he has always deep meanings within his songs and is amazing in conveying emotions through his voice and music, he also started at a very young age and also was never seeking for fame. Hua Chenyu once said: " When you listen to my music, in the very, very deep and tiny corners of your heart, if I can light it up a little bit, it´s more than enough for me". Many reactors are starting with his Singer 2018 performances which per se rules are mostly cover songs (he rearranged in amazing ways). Best covers are Fake Monk (stunning art performance), Child (angelic Hua Hua),, Nunchucks ( you will see how versatile he is). His own compositions in Singer 2018 are I don´t care (rock song) and Qi Tian ( Theme song for the movie WuKong about the monkey king/ genre rock/rap). All songs from his latest album New World are stunning as well. He has a trilogy about mental health (I really want to love this world/Madhouse/Converstions with martian children) and two songs about the environment Sacred tree/Arrival ( which are representing Destruction/Rebirth)....... and so much more. Looking forward to more of your Aurora videos and would be very happy if you give HuaHua a try. You can find all his performances with eng subs on different fan channels here on youtube. I try to give some links below.

Hua Chenyu said : Actually, each song I sang in Singer2018 reflects a different mountain in the uphill battle of personal growth. "Qi Tian" => My arrival; "Child" => My childhood; "Nunchucks" => My arrogance; "I Don't Care" => My apathy; "Flammable and Explosive" => The world's conflicting expectations of me; "Wayfarer" => My disappointment after opening up to the world; "Fake Monk" => My inner struggle and salvation; "Ordinary Path" => Clenching my teeth to face myself; "I Am What I Am" => Finding myself. The last song after I have scaled to the mountaintop is "Shout" => surpassing myself.

Great reaction as always. I'm an old (ish) guy and was pretty much stuck listening to classic rock and not much else. I saw a short video on KZread with Aurora explaining her vocal bacing part in the movie "Frozen" with the song "into the unknown". I searched more and found a whole new world of her music, live concerts and her humour. She is a true talent with a great stage performance whatever stage she's on. She has the energy to light up a city with her dancing while singing "pitch perfect". Not a lot of artists can sing and dance at the same time. Thank you for the reaction and thank you Aurora for sharing your music and for opening the eyes of this old guy.

Nice reaction! This video came out in 2019, she was 22 at that time. I think the first time she played this song live was 28. February 2018 at Melkweg in Amsterdam. She played it live at Lollapalooza in Brazil in March 2018, an outstanding live version of this song. She must have written this song when she was 20 or 21. She has done a lot of different live versions of this song, alone or togheter with Silja and the band.

The Concert at the end of HIAK is in the woods near her home town of Bergen like where she used to go to as a child to be alone with nature. The entire day was a surprise to her. She didn't even know she would perform there when she woke up. She touches slightly on political issues (environmental, LGBT, etc) but I honor her undeniable love for nature. If I had a suggestion for another artist it would be another young Norwegian music prodigy Angelina Jordan. She is definitely a reaction favorite. Thanks again for sharing your journey of discovery.

AURORA did not play there as a child, because she lived several kilometers south-west from this place. But the forest near her home is very similar to the place of the concert.

It really sucks that in U.S.A. the topic of the environment is political, it really shouldn’t be. You touched on some of the hallmarks of Aurora’s music: great storytelling, emotional, and excellent build up. She usually has great choruses as well. For a next reaction I’m gonna suggest Soulless Creatures live in Bergen 2020 (it’s the first and only time she did this song live, not counting time she sang it on a livestream). Talks about the 2011 massacre that happenend in Norway, unfortunetly 69 people died, including a friend of Aurora... It's a very special song for her, and for everyone that suffered from this.

Good reaction again. You hit my favorit music video, it is so powerfull, an anthem for mother nature and what i like is that she is not ''preaching'' anything, just saying facts with trail of solution in those images, giving us the feeling that we can do something, she never says ''it's too late'' it's those or them fault'' just that wunderfull feeling of power true the music and lyrics that we have the power to fixe this. Environement and human right are deeply important for her, she doesn't speak that much about it, she make songs and act. I just love her. For the next song: churchyard, you'll see an other Aurora :-)

Love your reaction. I was dumbfounded when I first seen this and watched it like 50 times in a row. Powerful song and powerful visuals. I see a lot of requests for “Churchyard” from KEXP which is an amazing song (also a great concert) and “Churchyard” and “It Happened Quiet” are linked because they are both related to domestic violence, or a bully situation, where the abused comes back in the end to haunt. “Churchyard” is a very upbeat song with an incredibly deep meaning. When you do get to “Churchyard” it helps to know it’s the European equivalent of a graveyard. “Infections of a Different Kind” at HAIK (pronounced like ‘hike’) is hauntingly beautiful (and I say that about a lot of her songs but this one hit me differently). Whichever direction you go with Aurora you can’t go wrong 😊

Enyoing your reaction again! I discovered AURORA two years ago, and i can´t remember an artist that has so much impact to me... and i listen to a lot of music in the last fourty years! But don´t think AURORA is a shy person, she is just intovert. It helps me a lot to understand this young woman ( if it´s possible ) to watch her documentries and listen to her sirious interviews when there is no camara in front of her. This girl worked so hard to spray her message... and i don´t think it´s a political one. She just cares about to be human in every single aspect of our life! And as you say; the look in the mirror... It´s very importend not to put the finger on another person, it´s important to reflekting your own life, and change it when it goes wrong for yourself! We all want the best for our children, but we are distroying their future! Just take a look what´s going on in the world; i think the world needs more people like AURORA and her warriors! Keep going on with your journey, and spray AURORAs message! Thanks...

Really enjoying watching you discover Aurora :) I would love for you to listen to an absolute favourite artist of mine, Tori Amos. I recommend starting with her 1991 debut Little Earthquakes. An incredibly gifted musician and songwriter from the age of two, I think you'll find her songs not only amazing but also her lyrics and metaphores are an entire world to dive into just like Aurora. :) Hope you get a chance to listen to at least some of her work, track I'd highly suggest listening to first would be Silent all these years. :)

The rabbit hole keeps expanding.... As expected you picked up the technique behind the production, but also the mere emotion behind it. This song indeed has a tribal power within and affects our awareness. She is the seed that feeds this awareness. You are gonna plant a tree! 👍 Aurora's performance for the Nordic station P3 of 'God is a woman' (an Ariana Grande cover by the way) is a title that will make us even more aware of how this world has come to be by the male approach in development of it all and were it has brought us now.

International Rabbit day!!! So sweet. It is most interesting to actually compare the Haik performance to the video. What she does with vocals and a limited crew compared to the produced video shows she can be amazing both ways - building to the final drop with her vocals is heart-rending.. Pause all you want, it is only fair use when there is significant input. If anyone thinks that climate change and the threat to the well-being of the youth is a political issue, then please re-evaluate your direction. Aurora is not a political figure. In that vein, there are a few older reactors who put their religious thinking on top of her pure message. That's why I feel that Queendom is the acid test. Also, I feel that a google search that shows her age vs song output is almost essential to seeing her agelessness and yet emotional growth. Don't be afraid of doing that.
