She is actually the secret daughter of Galadriel The Lady of Light. She grew up in the Golden Wood of Lothlórien also known as Lindórinand, Valley of the Land of the Singers. She got the nickname "Laurelin" from the Golden Tree of Valinor, the name meaning "Song of Gold" or "Singing Gold".

We are all childs of Earth...but....

Her Norwegian ancestors were speaking to her the night she wrote those lyrics! "Suffocate me, so my tears can be rain I will water the ground where I stand So that the flowers can grow back again" This was her offering herself as a willing human sacrifice to restore the prosperity of land! This was an actual Old Norse practice in ancient times were the chosen was straggled with a garrot, giving their life as an offering to restore balance to their world.

I really enjoyed your reaction! This was one of the first songs I heard by AURORA (a little over a year ago), and I was hooked. I recommend her 2018 KEXP performance for high-octane AURORA: "All is Soft Inside," "Churchyard" and others!

This is by far my favourite track in context to the situation our planet is in... She's the voice of Mother Earth's scream for help.

Definitely! "All is Soft Inside!" from KEXP 2018 in Iceland!

I have a suggestion for you. I've noticed some reactors lately deciding to do a reaction to a live version and the music video in the same reaction video. Not sure if you are interested in doing that, but it's a terrific idea, so you can see the contrast. Not only that, but you must see all of her music videos. She is so good at the visual story telling. Obviously not all of her songs have music videos, but many do. I can't even pick a favorite, because they are all awesome. This one is definitely a must see for any Aurora fan. The other must see ones would be for me "Apple Tree", " Winter Bird", "To be loved", "Running with the wolves" and "The River". All of them are spectacular, but I thought I would make that suggestion. Sometimes it's nice to compare the live and the studio versions. Everyone has a preference of course, but for me, I can't decide, because they are both crazy good. Oh, and if you want to check out a great live version of this song, I would do the one at the Haik concert. She gets a little surprise on that one.

Aurora is really one of the few artists who do what they do out of the deepest conviction and do not allow others to be talked into. This topic is unpopular and makes enemies. Her song "Queendom" too and much more, and yet she does it. She doesn't care if she makes herself unpopular with some people or if she loses fans. She once said that she set her flag and everyone is invited to come and stay with her, but she won't go after people to please. I also recommend the song "Queendom" the official music video here. It shows very clearly what she stands for. Like this video here.

She was asked if she lost followers on Instagram because of her support for Black Lives Matter - her response was something like - It's OK if some people leave, I don't really need racists following me. (I may not be quoting her exactly but I think that was the essence of her response).

@@mariopardillo8618 it's one of the topics. She also lost people to the Seed and Queendom. Perhaps is lost the wrong term, if they didn't really belong to her from the start.

Great reaction, this music video might be her best because of the important message it has. For a next reaction I’d recommend Lucky live at Nidarosdomen or All is Soft Inside live at KEXP

Love both songs = I am signing over this recommendation.

If only talking not helps' hopefully this song does. We humans, our cravings and what we do to get what we want" wel..it will not be without consequenses. Beautiful inspiring song ❤

Let us all be a seed and together grow a forest of consciousness, knowledge and responsibility. But most of all love for everybody on this planet. Stop wars and share the same goals: repair and sustain the planet we live upon. It may be naive, but it is the only way, people.

This is one of those song that requires more than one reaction. There are a couple out there that should be seen as well. After this one, I like the "live stage" versions best. Nice job. If you don't have headphones this requires you get them.

Just move away from the concept of dance.... Dance creates box. think we have to unbox ourselves more. We are all letting ourselves be swayed and moved by the sound/vibrations - or not. It's is a choice... And yes, she literally grew up in the forest, whenever she could she went to the forest to be quiet (and communicate w the wild? ) This is SO POWERFUL, I just LOVE it!

It does seem like that, but they can't cheat the laws of physics. Eventually they will devour themselves. Admittedly not before they make life much worse for the rest of us, but maybe that's what we have to endure, so we can be rid of them.
