    I have interesting life experience. I graduated college and then met my husband. Got married had three kids, stayed home while he finished his degree and built up a career. He died unexpectedly at age 35. I don’t regret my choice to stay home with my babies. It was precious and time went by so quickly. I don’t feel scared like I have no skills because I chose this life. I know I can enter the work force and make it if I need to. Thankfully I don’t have to work fulltime because of smart planning on our part in case anything bad happened to either of us… Don’t be afraid to plan smart and live within your means and build the life you want. Ladies if you want to be a stay at home wife and mom, you will find the guy who wants that too and your life can be beautiful. ❤️

    I love to be home but am a working mum, and am glad I am too. My husband died at 34 unexpectedly and I was able to smoothly adjust to being the sole provider for our kids because I was working full time . The joy of seeing my girls come home from school and run to me with their day discoveries gets me that I can't help but feel sad on the days that am at work. Embracing who you are, choosing what is best for you and planning well, both ways are Okey but given a choice I would say stay home mum is the best if you are raising a family.

    Research has proven that a stay at home mom is best for the children. Our youngest is now in high school so my wife works. I make enough money that she can work at a job that fulfills her and not have to work at a job for money. I should also state that I would not be as successful as I am without my wife being there to support me and providing a peaceful home for our family. My success is 100% due to her support. Taking care of the home for me is wayy better than working, and i dont mind doing the kind of things that being a house wife entails, in fact they’re enjoyable. I think it would make me less stressed out, and give me the time to take care of my partner and make him less stressed out. Not to mention that i have an abundance of hobbies and skills i crave to learn that being provided for would give me time to do and to better myself. A real man wants to provide and protect. That does not mean he wants to hold his wife back. However, most men will want their wives to raise the kids rather than some strangers at a day care. My dad was a teacher and had four kids at home. It was important to my parents that my mom was at home with us. I am grateful for my parent’s sacrifices to make that possible. My mom has her masters degree. My dad supported her the entire time she was getting her degrees. He never held her back. They were on the same page about raising kids thank goodness. I am so grateful that I was able to come home to my mom. She was the greatest influence on her kids. My husband has made it possible for me to be a stay at home also. I am so grateful. I was the one with my children for every milestone. I have been the one to teach them right from wrong.

    I don't see an issue with being a stay at home wife at all, as long as the marriage lasts. Once the marriage is over, that's when you having been at home for years and would like to earn your own money is starting to get tough.

    2nd guy.. I love how the first iteration was ‘my wife raising my kids’ and he adjusted it but it was still wrong -versus ‘us raising our kids together.’ Like you do not go with a $300,000 car and not spend just as much time with your kids as the mother does. What is the entire point of all your money. He talks about the wife like she’s some kind of add-on ancillary that handles raising the kids separate from him.

    Good for you and your husband!! Thank God there are other people who realize that you don’t have to have everything materially to be content. IMO most women who try to work outside their homes , raise their children, be a good wife, keep up with the family appointments etc end up totally stressed out, angry , depleted and emotionally exhausted and sometimes even physically sick. God didn’t intend for anyone to try to do everything. So happy for you and your husband. Life flows so much smoother when you do things the way your family is doing them.

    Love 💕 all of your videos! I replied to the first one on the topic of stay at home wives. While I was in the Marine Corps and had 1 or two part time jobs as well my husband treated me much nicer than when I became a stay at home mom. I love the ability to nurse our son, nurturing and cooking. I’d do it differently if I could… with a better husband honestly. 😅 Thank you for asking the watch maker for opportunities and ideas to start in his field. Great job as usual! I’d love a third video with the preferences. I’m super proud of you btw! 🥹😇

    I think most women under 25 feel like they want to work. Eventually the commute to work 1 hour each direction, micro aggressions or outright being yelled at by a boss..or customers, being overlooked for promotions, toxic corporate culture..is not worth it. You will likely burn out by 35 or..even 27. I’d gladly be a stay at home wife. Wished I had the opportunity.

    Take notice that all the men who were millionaires and married with kids preferred an independent, working and educated woman. But EVERY guy who earned less than 10 figures and was unmarried wanted a "stay at home woman to take care of him." These men don't want a partner ... they are trying to replace their mother. Same thing as women who want all their bills paid are looking for a father. And that is exactly why the nastiest divorces according to record are between stay at home wives and guys who wanted them. Toxic people are attracted to eachother. Healed people are attracted to successful, independent adults.

    @@ecclairmayo4153That older gentleman is telling the truth most men are afraid to say out loud. It is about control, when wife is at home they could work overtime and have an affair. I was a massage therapist for women for 14 years, the trauma dump I got from these women on an intimate level would make any women stay single for the rest of her life. So many were rich women who were SAHM and I always hear about their husbands leaving them for a secretary, someone younger, or total abandonment. I see bruises on their bodies too..... some of them cant find a decent job after divorce. A couple of them have even applied to work at my job as receptionist or something else because their rich husbands hired the best attorneys they could find to screw their wife up even more. Those men are rich for a reason, they claw and push and climb over people to get where they want. They will use their wives the same way, she serves her purpose, and they go find another wife... like climbing the ladder.

    Of course women want to take care of the home and have her husband do the providing. Sheesh, of course ya’ll. The problem is every woman knows she’s at high risk of being discarded by age 50 and replaced with a 20 year old. If she doesn’t have a career and she selflessly signed a prenup, she will be living in a van making minimum wage somewhere with no social security and no 401k. And security is a woman’s #1 goal in life. It’s not that hard to understand why women want to avoid this situation that is all too common

  • @amymay8060

    @amymay8060

    If you are doing it right, you won't be discarded at 50. (I'm 53 and my husband is still smitten.) But, more important, if you are doing money right, splitting the marital assets will equal a nice chunk of cash. If my husband left me tomorrow, my half of the marital assets is enough to float me. And of course I have access to his Social Security and his 401K is marital assets, so 1/2 mine. Yes, I want security. I good marriage is one way. A fat net worth is another path. Helping my husband build that net worth by managing the household expenses well, makes him reluctant to pay out half of it, to get me to leave!

On the topic of being a stay at hime wife, if I had that option, which I do, I’d choose to be the wife with a husband and children and build an empire, rather than work for a corporation, it’s nice to have your own money, but nicer to build something of your own with someone. Also women face a lot in the workforce, you can imagine the many challenges, so I understand why the man said women making her own money can be lead to other directions. It’s true, if that’s what she chooses and isn’t focused.
