Another great video, Rubeauti. Have used them before to find gf in PI, but (& there was an intelligent comment about this somewhere) developing a friendship first is so much better than going straight into dating. The site has such bad reviews and rating when I was debating about using the app myself. I will give it I a go I suppose and congratulations to you as well.

I got hundreds of messages from Filipina from 18 to 60 y/o on Filipina Cupid and others . I narrowed it down to just one after a few months . Half we're scammers. of those left I felt half were desperate just looking for a way out of their situation (sad) . 25% are real people looking for a relationship.

You're absolutely right about FC. That's exactly the same experience I had. Luckily, it did work out for me and my wife. We met there, back when it was called FilipinoHearts, and we've been married since 2011. A lot of people told me, "She's only after a green card", but the truth is, she didn't want to live in the U.S. so we now live in Cavite with our 10-year old daughter!

Im definitely moving to te Phillipines in the next years, these ladys sound extremely edecated and polite, also they are seem very beautilful, almost a complete oposite of western women.

I really enjoy your street interviews always, you a really natural communicator. There are always some interesting and surprising answers. For my 2 pesos worth, those girls were all working city girls, with many opportunities to meet people every day, either at work or just out and about in general. In short they have the many opportunities of anyone who actually lives there. Most girls on dating sites are not girls with good jobs in the cities. Many are single moms, and many girls there have no job, and few opportunities to meet guys, especially if they want a foreigner. Dating sites are not for everyone, and girls need to be careful on them, but in the modern world I think they have their place. Thanks Rubeauti for another fun video….oh, love the dress btw.

I’m glad to see these girls are at least careful about dating apps. I met my Filipina online more than 20 years ago but not on a dating app. I checked some of them out but didn’t like them. We met on ICQ which was just a chat program and you could select different genders and different places to look for someone to talk to. It was much more fun than dating apps and not so much pressure. Feels like the rise of hookup culture due to these dating apps is creating more rhetoric of “all men are trash” and all women require the 6’s…but of course neither are true. The younger city Filipina have a plethora of options in the city, whether it be work, family , church or going out etc. This is why do not feel the necessity to use the apps, even if they wanted to meet a foreigner guy there are places that foreigners are more prone to hang out in BGC for example. The great thing about the dating apps is it takes out the heavy grind out of the “ wish list”. For example I personally knew I wanted university educated, middle class Filipina …worked out etc. So that instantly cuts out 95% Filipina’s …but it’s more romantic to meet in person if possible.

I find the amount of differences among the women you interview interesting. Most in other videos said they didn't like being approached in the wild.

morale: they don't use apps, scammers instead they often use it, their prices are insane so you could be tricked into thinking those apps are good, and if you have to spend some bucks to know a girl just choose a bar and offer a drink to the girl you'd like to know, or buy her real flowers. Yes, be rejected on live is not nice, but you are gonna improve your social skills anyway, and not just your scrolling speed.

A lot of what they say and feel about the various apps is pretty much universal in the dating world while chatting and hook-ups associated with certain apps have to some degree run their course and continue to lean more towards a novelty in some respect. But like anything else, new apps will come along to entertain a new group or generation and that too will run its course and so on...

I think it’s easier using a dating app as you really can select your preferences, it’s commonsensical to me and you can search at your leisure. Plus I have skin in the game as I met my Filipina on dating app, we could not be happier ..three years together and now living together.

As a victim of dating sites (including those for Filipina's) myself, I get it. People's behavior on them can be disrespectful, deceitful, and opportunist. At the moment, I can't go to the Philippines but it would wonderful to meet a Filipina. Once I get there, though, I will only have a limited amount of time to meet someone with the hopes of establishing a relationship with the right girl as I understand most of them tend to be somewhat shy. So it's a catch-22 situation, but I'll keep at it.

I found a lot of Filipinas on okcupid but I don’t match with any yet since I am still in nyc but eventually when I go there then I will try to meet and date and see where it goes. Hopefully I find the future mother of our future kids

Never believed in the concept, but like some of your interviewees Rubi, I opened a profile out of morbid curiosity. I didn't expect much going in, so disappointment was a given. And for the expected reasons. Some keywords from my experience: catfishing, helplessness, judgmental, irrational expectations, job interviews, time differential, and the list is longer. There is a total lack of sensory perception to virtual dating, which is a serious handicap at even a basic evaluation of anyone. Non-verbal clues, such as body language, are minimal at best...The biggest problem I think is that people tend to take a picture of someone they think is attractive, and build a dream around that picture. While that may satisfy some sense of longing short-term, long-term it sets up the parties involved with entanglements brought about by ill-advised promises made based on insufficient or outright bad information...Say nothing of the expense! I paid $30 USD for one week, just to get a few contacts. Three or four months of that, one could use the money for a plane ticket... 😏 ...So if you're just using it for a meet and greet, or to populate your contacts, it's probably okay. But know the risks and limitations. But trying to find love?...It ain't for me... 😒 ...Stay awesome, Rubi!... 😉

Some things you probably left out 1. Scammers (they'll suggest you invest in some bullshit to rob you, they'll give you some sob story that's a complete lie to rob you, food diggers that use you for a foodie call & then ditch you & unmatch you) 2. If you're interested, she's not, if she's interested, you're not 3. Ghosters, they'll match but never initiate, never respond or ghost you after 2-3 messages 4. Catfishes, there are two types, real people playing around vs the website itself using dumb bots or real people to reel you into a false sense that there's somebody in there that's actually interested in you, as opposed to their site having just a handful of people like some other apps. 5. They're only looking attention or some fun & male validation 6. Prostitutes & girls looking for "sugar daddies" Basically too many women have basically become psychopaths & devils.

Opened out of morbid curiosity, that was the first lie. The idea that the system isn't filled with both bad and women is ridiculous, there are just as many dishonest men as women. The idea that you can find a good match on a site is true but 90% men who complain are writing or contacting women that they shouldn't and the same goes for the women. Realistic expectations probably cut the field by 80% but people tend to focus on the 20% that are not attainable. That is how the scams become so prominent they play into people's desires and vulnerabilities.

"Do you use dating apps?: NO" ( follow by giggling). One wonder's what the answers will be if they were not being recorded. Last bunch was the best giving expert advice on something they "vaguely" know.

Most of these young ladies you are interviewing in BGC and Makati would be using a dating app to find a local boyfriend, not an overseas potential husband. That would be a different type of app. Was your intention to try and find ladies who were using those kind of apps? I think you’d need to find a different target location. Maybe somewhere in a less well off area and near a mall.

I’ve had 4 bad experiences with dating apps and will not try them again.

I've had this love and hate relationship with dating apps. People on Tinder are too wild for me, especially passport bros. They would blindly swipe on everyone. I've been on a date with quite a few of these foreign men and every single one would always have this expectations that I'd end up sleeping with them after the first date. But I know better than lose my virginity to someone who has no intention to genuinely bond and form a connection with me. So I politely decline the sexual advances, pay my part of the bill and bid them goodbye.

I've met some of the most amazing men and women on dating apps!

A long time ago I tried Enharmony and my compatibility rate was very low. A few woman who were interested in me sent friend requests despite not even being compatible per our profiles!! One even attacked me verbally, even though I did not know her and we never conversed in emails. I finally gave up and deleted the account. I recently tried Hebrew Hearts Singles and that was a waste of time. I deleted that account. It seems the Father in heaven wants me single. Might not be bad, considering how many woman just want a man for his looks and wallet, then divorce and take half if not more. The dating scene is sad!!

When I was on dating app, before I met my girl, I would notice that the women I would talk to would be very hesitant to talk at 1st. I always assured them that I was respectful and not gonna be acting dirty or anything. Then they would be OK. A lot of perverted guys are giving the dating apps a bad reputation.

There's a term in statistics called sampling bias that is very relevant here. The people your interviewed are confident enough to be on camera and are out with friends. Their preferences are likely not representative of the population

I think you have to be intentional as well with your bio. If you are looking for a serious relationship, you’ll have to specifically make it clear on your bio and first 3 messages to get rid of the horny jerks. I’ve seen people succeed using dating apps but then again, it’s pretty much a Russian roulette.

I always laugh when I see young people sitting at the same table texting each other. How disconnected can you get and how will you ever have a real relationship. Actual conversation is the most engaging thing in the world. Young need to learn how to do it instead of text

You can't. Wheat Waffles channel (not paid to promote him) explains why and how Geo-maxing is just a form of Money-maxing. IRL, you'll get the same results (or worse) than online. Most will ghost you or be "polite" and use soft rejections. You have to lead with your wallet (never good) with the poorer ladies and your odds of finding a Uni educated attractive young lady are near zero unless you went to her same college. You can find single mothers, what most find, or a girl looking for an OFW visa that lasts a lifetime to send money home and to have babies as her retirement plan. In other words, ladies who equate love with money not passion and intimacy (romantic love).

We've been married for 11 years, have a beautiful daughter, and a great marriage. I've also never been asked to provide for her relatives. We lived in the U.S. for a few years, then moved back to the Philippines, and have been here since 2016.

As an American filipino, I find some filipinas match with me on worldwide OKC but unexpectedly overall it is low(mid 100s). Better than matches from America(in the several dozens), and Europe(few). but worse than matches from Africa(nearly double than southeast Asia). I know this is much higher for the average man that struggles to get matches with bots, and especially given handicap of me being an Asian male, but these anecdotal figures are still low for a top 20% man. Of course it matters little when a fraction of them even respond, granted I put minimal effort The filipinas seem to mostly want to watch or talk about KDramas or find a gaming partner to play League of Legends/Mobile Legends with.

The problem with dating apps is women say over and over in every bio no hookups but when they come across a guy like me that’s not sexually aggressive till I’m comfortable with them they find me boring and ghost me after a few responses

At least you get matches and responses, I think I got something like 1-2% initial responses from the 50-100 matches I ever got on Tinder in the 1.5 years I was swiping on it, and the only one that was interested enough I had zero desire for her, I only matched with her because I seemed to be out of options, and eventually I just gave up. Then I had a period of just hating women, & technically still hate them, at least the modern woman, which I find to be entitled & infantilized jerks, more so Western women I guess, with a few exceptions I've only found outside of dating apps and outside of my own country for the most part.

They have tripled their rates to a ridiculous level. I can only assume they are gettng enough guys to sign up or they wouldn't stay afloat, but I am not about to pay that knd of money for something that will probably not work out. It's already 3K just to fly over there.

And the pros aren't just selling erotic services. Some of these sites will pay girls just to get you to chat with them, then they will charge you an outrageous fee for a video chat. I figured that out after one chat and they were almost demanding I stay online with them. It got creepy. They were being paid by the minute

I have been VERY tempted to use Filipina dating apps however, I will not arrive in CEBU until June 2024. I cant go through the agony of not being nearby to meet. I'll start the search for my Filipina when I arrive, probably seek IN PERSON rather than app.

Facts. It's funny how much effort a woman will put into selecting the perfect face moisturizer or cosmetics, but for a life partner? "Nah no dating apps and I will probably ignore most guys who approach me in person or slide into my DMs, until that random 'cute meet' that just happens to hit me in the right moment and say the perfect lines" - complete lack of reason & reality but "Where are all the good men?" when they hit 30+. They have jobs and school. Not all women are fantasizing about getting a boyfriend or a husband. Most of the couple I know and myself never actively “look” for a partner. It just happened that we met someone and we clicked. The only friend who did not succeed on dating is the only one I knew who actively seeking one. She has a lot of work she needs to do, she's insecure and have this delusion of being a “independent woman” but she's too naive and lazy to actually be a boss babe (I had not talked to her for two years because I said something bad about her MLM company and she told me she's not listening to me because I am not Bill Gates).

I really hate dating apps. Organically realized relationships are much more fruitful.

You know what's funny. I recently used a dating app to meet Fillipinas, and I'll be honest, it was the women who started with the sexual stuff trying to draw me in and send them money for pics or videos. Those are the women I deleted. I've been chatting to a lovely lady for the past year and the topic of sex hardly ever comes up. She is closer to my age and I found it's the young ones who are so willing to offer themselves up for some quick cash.

No dates due to the fact that I was still in the U.S. when I was using the app. I eventually met my wife there though, so it worked out well.

Rubeauti, another interesting look at life over there, for me your interviewees were a little on the young side, I know there is the 'age doesn't matter' outlook over there, but still I would prefer a little older, 32-35+ at least, I am 64. One video I particularly enjoyed was your look at nice places to visit, I am currently planning to visit in February, initially for one month, in that time I am going to visit someone in Arayat, a guy who has the same interest as me, knife throwing!😁 I hope to spend a week in that area, then maybe go down to Subik, a place you mentioned. Would you know if there are any/many other westerners in that area? I have noticed the majority of westerners all tend to go to the Cebu, Dumaguete area, which would mean an internal flight to get there. If I was there for longer I think I would consider going but I think maybe a month is not time enough? I would really appreciate your input and any other suggestions you may have for that area, Tarlac, as I know you are from there. Thank you so much in advance and keep up the great videos🤗

I'm an Aussie guy who would love to find a deep loving connection with a Filipina and I can tell you now, if it was just about a casual hookup, I could spend $200 and find a beautiful Asian lady for a quick hookup, instead of multiple thousands of dollars going to the Philippines. The only ones who do that have more money than they deserve and should be a red flag for any decent Filipina. The ones you get to know over a year are obviously in it for something deeper and more meaningful than a hookup.

True. I've had this love and hate relationship with dating apps. People on Tinder are too wild for me, especially passport bros. They would blindly swipe on everyone. I've been on a date with quite a few of these foreign men and every single one would always have this expectations that I'd end up sleeping with them after the first date. But I know better than lose my virginity to someone who has no intention to genuinely bond and form a connection with me. So I politely decline the sexual advances, pay my part of the bill and bid them goodbye.

Wow again. I am very surprised at the answers. What area/city was you in? As a foreigner, it seems it will be "extremely" hard to me a nice Filipina. One of your last videos, they said they do not want to be approached directly and now you hear them say they do not use dating apps. A higher percentage of the interviewees said that they rather meet a significant other through "friends", "work" or "school". Thank you for your video. You are having honest videos and given us foreigners a "true" picture of a chance to meet a Filipina there. You are not just given us one side like some other Filipino KZreadrs. I mentioned this before that it seems younger generations (under 35 years old) have more westernized views in their pursuit of a partner. 🤔

There is a misconception from other KZreadrs about the Philippines me thinks especially when it comes to attitudes in the big cities. My partner was a ex model and ex corporate banker working for WF …middle class. It’s a side you don’t see on KZread and the attitudes of modern city Filipina’s.

@@Eric-qm5xw I can attest to this, I'm in PH now and the girls you meet in the malls, clubs and cities aren't that much better than the west and I'm a young successful good looking guy who dates models in USA, not some desperate old man. You might even say it's worse in a way because most of these girls are less cultured, shorter, and the stunners are few & far inbetween here...hiliariously, alot of them carry a similar entitled & "too busy with my friends" attitude. I havn't tried to the province yet but it's incredible how much hype there is on youtube about this nonsense...definitely enough to ruin some lives.

Call me old fashioned but I prefer the tried and true method of meeting people in person. Way to easy for someone to post pictures of someone else and scam people
