Indian history will not forget Mr. Bhushan for his fearless, honest tweets which are in no way an insult but an eye opener for the judiciary and Government. Mr.Thapar and Mr. Shourie, when I was doing LL.M. in Constitutional Law from the University of Bombay 1982-1983,I was taught that if there was another Court above the Supreme Court, half of its decisions would be set aside.

Now that the SC is taking up cases arbitrarily, it's clear the SC of today is not doing whatt it was supposed to do by the Constitution... 370 removal - we will look into that later. CAA- We will take it up later. Electoral bonds- later Habeas corpus, judge loya case, bhima koregaon-- we will hear them later. Arnab goswami petition, and Prashant Bhushan contempt case--- These are of grave concerns for our country and democracy, we willhear it now.

Mr Thapar and Mr Shourie,Mr Madhu Limaye, a great parliamentarian once said that the judges of the Supreme Court were residing in ivory towers.This is from my memory and Mr Limaye made this remark after the Bank Nationlization case.

The hierarchy of priorities of the Hon'ble SC seems to have gone awry. With due respect to the Hon'ble judges Iwould like to submit : Kindly do not diminish this great Institution you belong to . To paraphrase Shakespeare : It is great to have a giant's strength ; but to use it like a giant is tyrannous.

Things have become so bad that we have to explicitly say it out loud what is tangible enough to be seen.

Marvelous interview. I am pleased to listen two great personalities and feel that democracy of our country will definitely survive. This is a temporary face and people wil defeat anti-democratic forces. Lastly I will praise Mr Prashant Bhushan who raised his voice so strongly.

Good to watch Arun shouri ji such a long time a intellectual person have to live long for India

Hope shattered from 2014 onward.

There are no blasphemy laws in India,but Indian judiciary has equated contempt of court into Judicial blasphemy.

The reasons given by the Supreme Court has exposed its own hollowness , by writing a 109 pages , full of sound and fury without any substance !!!!! A very sad situation, these three judges have placed themselves in !!! The criminal politicians and their criminal acts should have been dealt with firmly by this court which it doesn't seem to be concerned with....... otherwise how can so many MPs with criminal cases reach the Parliament ?

The biggest contempt of SC was when four SC Judges held a public press conference few years back and raised questions about the institution of Supreme Court itself. Why wasn't any action taken then ?
