Be clear that Thapar repeats and reinforces for the audience statements by the so-called professor, to brainwash the audience. Good interview & very fair points.... but would the same interview would have happened if the verdict was the other way? that's where media looses its credibility however the excellent the discussion is... As an Indian citizen, I agree with you. Had the courts given the reasoning that now mosque isn't there and they are looking at the majoritarian sentiments thereby favoring a party that entered the case in 1989 I would have considered that logic for a brief moment. But rejecting all the claims made by the winning party while putting a greater proof of burden on the loosing party was a cold blooded planned murder of justice.

Fred Matthew Well, a British law student speculating about Indian judicial system is a cliche in itself. Does British court of law run civil proceedings based on distinct legal framework outlined on the basis of religions, such as Muslim laws for one community and Hindu laws for other. The clinching evidence is the archeology report which conclusively proved the masjid built over pre existing mandir. Watch K K Muhammads videos on youtube. Possesion is thus excluded based on forceful uptake of land by the other side.

Unfortunately, SC has contradicted its own statements! SC did not find evidence that there was Ram temple before. Yet the verdict was given based on the belief (aastha) of larger section of people!!

A very encouraging point was made by Prof. Mustafa that many secular, progressive and liberal Hindus are dissatisfied with the verdict than Muslims, who were in some sense,the direct parties to the case. Perhaps, the central reason for this is that each of those secular and progressive persons reading the judgment feel that each and every principal of law which has been invoked has been back-stabbed with faith.

Just the way Karan is in control and knows what he is talking about is just inspiring.

An honestly academic and elevated interview and dialogue that deems to be very inconvenient for the powers that be.

I have seen the railway boggy. Secondly, SC has given a great decision ,solving over a century old problem, with proper evidence. Thirdly ,if Hindus start raising questions on belief of Muslims on existence of Prophet with 8 years old wife Aeysha , Mecca , Medina then Muslims will not like it. Fourthly, SC must get FOUNDATIONS of all Mosques dug out to confirm that they have not been built on old structures. If they are, then these Mosques should be designated as" HARAM" and demolished. This was done to break the moral of the locals to convert them to Islam which has to be rectified as Islam came from beyond the Hindukush. Finally, Hindus are the most tolerant people who have accepted Muslims to make a nation on the LAND OF HINDUSTAN, namely Pakistan plus Bangladesh, else it would have been an Israel-Palestine problem. So dear do try and read/analyse reality before giving any comments.

Oh what a gem of an interview! I watch Faizaan bhai's channel so I know how knowledgeable he is, but had not realised how deep he had gone into this case. And Karan ... what a wonderful journalist. He has made himself so aware of the the entire issue that he can ask the most erudite and pertinent questions of his distinguished guest. Wah maja aa gaya...and certainly whether they say it or not, I definitely know now this was a poor judgement by a compromised court

The court themselves said - there is no evidence that a temple existed before the mosque. There was some structure there that's all. But evidence of the mosque is clear and everyone has seen it getting demolished. So this a biased judgement - there is no doubt.

The arrow meant to kill the ISSUE missed the target and inflicted injuries on justice.

I like Faizan Mustafa's opinion more than the Supreme Court's decision although both have the same outcome.The fact that the Supreme Court did not want to do even that indicates towards some irregularities.

@@krishnanb.s.5581 All evidences were there. ASI was not able to conclude there was a temple or any religious structure there. SCs verdict is based on the fact that there was no namaz in that masjid for some time period and that means it's not an active mosque. If the mosque was not demolished,there would have been no temple today. But demolition was illegal and case is still pending.

Excellent discussion on the verdict of SC in the matter of Babri mosque. First the statues put in the mosque is called as illegal and than the demolition of mosque is also called as illegal by SC. There were no evidences found to prove that mosque was built by demolition of temple. However the mosque was demolished and after that the disputed land was given to build Ram temple. For the mosque , the land was allotted in Ayodhya itself. Ram temple is now already build and completed in January, 2024. However there was not put even a foundation stone for the mosque. Is the verdict of SC proper ? Is the verdict of SC seems legal ? What were the solid ground for SC to give verdict in favor of Ram temple ? Was Ram took birth on that particular place ? Mosque was built there in fact and it was standing there before it demolished and it was not temple that all know it including people of India, world, Govt, and judiciary also. These questions have no answers. However Muslims of India declared that they will accept the verdict of SC and they accepted it because they have trust on Indian judiciary and SC. Now it is for the citizens of our country who are believing in democracy and secular concept of nation. If majority citizens wishing to make India a Hindu Rastra , they can make it certainly.

The court clearly considered based on ASI report that there was an existing structure aged Nealy 12th century and the mosque was built above it which indicates that temple might have been destructed and then upon the structure the mosque was built. Further more the sunee board claimed that the mosque was built in a free space meaning to say that at the constructed place of the mosque there was no existing structure which was found false because ASI approved that there was an existing structured and mosque was built upon it. Other than that the structure upon which the mosque built resembled the Hindu temple type of structure. Other than that in shikh scripture it is mentioned that guru nanak went ayodhya to visit ram temple which Thus hindus claim found to be correct and therefore there were considered to be the real owner of the land.

It's very difficult to believe that the court has been either free or fair. To give a property of someone who has been enjoying it for four centuries to someone who merely claims on the basis of "faith" without a shred of evidence IS laughable.
