Thank you for this video as Artemis is one of my favourite goddesses of Greek mythology - the other two being Athena and Hestia.

Orion doesn't have a sword and shield, he holds a bow and arrow and the arrow is pointing directly at Taurus the bull's eye. Hence the origin of the statement "Bull's Eye" when hitting the target. Orion's belt stars are the quickest way to identify his constellation. Also at his heels are Canis Major and Canis Minor, his two hunting dogs.

I've long found it so interesting of how alike Artemis and Athena are. Both daughters of Zeus, both goddesses associated with an aspect of weaponry (Artemis = hunting, Athena = defensive/strategic warfare,) both choosing chastity over love/marriage, both domestic goddesses in some capacity (Artemis of motherhood, Athena of the home,) both took vengeance on mortals who boasted (or where acclaimed to be) better at something than the goddesses were, i.e., Artemis punishes Naobi, Athena punishes Arachne; and to end this list (even though these are likely not all of the similarities) Artemis turns Callisto into a bear for being seduced by Zeus, Athena turns Medusa into a hideous monster after Medusa was seduced by Poseidon. Athena and Artemis certainly are sisters in so many ways.

I think that the main thing about the Greek pantheon is that the gods are... Very much human. Not that they ever acknowledged that. But they are. They are not pure and perfect. Zeus was a known rapist. And funny enough, his victims never escaped horrible fates. Hera's punishments, more often than not. Callisto was Artemis victim.
