Two class athletes 👌🏼. What’s the best cues from the start? And is it stride length or frequency we should aim for?/feel. I’m working on keeping my feet/shin angles lower at the moment - have any drills for that? Cheers pal, keep up the great videos!

I'm really confused now about the proper start. I see different techniques from elite athletes. The 4 point blockstart is obviously different to a flat start in terms of rear foot pushing. I can clearly see the initial rear food push in most flat starts. It's a very quick short push. But does it happen consciously or reflexive? The thing is when both legs push back the arms should also move back/up. It's unntural for me. Ben Johnson is the extreme case of this technique. But athletes like Asafa or Bolt (usually taller ones) do more the front foot only push with a toe drag on the 2nd step. Maybe it doesn't really matter aslong as one creates high impulse.

I think it is a reflexive natural action. Body must load in order to generate force.

Is the 3 step running technique just for the start or can u use it during the race, like to get more power?
