Arjun can only beat the players he faces. He does well even in Closed super GM tournaments. Look for his performance in Shenzen tournament early this year. In this tournament he defeated a "low rated" player named Anish Giri.

I really like that Ju Wenjun is playing so many open tournaments now. Even if she loses sometimes, it doesn't matter, she tries even against much stronger opponents. Many women do not want to play with men at all and do not do so even for several years. Mariya Muzychuk played her last game against a man in June 2022, and many other top women do so too. Ju Wenjun now has 3 strong open tournaments in a month and she also skipped the next Women's Grand Prix to play more open.

@@sankara760 With Arjun? Yes, it was quite close to a draw. But yesterday she draw Abdusattorrov who has 2765 elo, so he is over 200 better. And in the previous round she defeated Keymer playing black, he has 2729 elo, so the difference is also much more than 150. She's doing quite well.

Keep assuming lol. What i stated is reality. Woman's world championship is a joke. I dont understand why they play in open tournaments to embarass themselves. The only 2 truly good women's players were judith and yifan and one of them never ever tried to be a women's world champion because she knew its true value. The other can be said to be the only respectable owner of that title who could actually justify it through her abilities.😂😂
