Sorry, but this is NOT chess.....This absolutely infuriated me no end, pieces knocked over, pieces not even sitting on their proper squares because the ridiculous speed this game is played pieces are left practically outside their own squares If Gotham Chess supports this disgusting BS I will never subscribe to his channel Chess is the game for Kings, where it is dignified, and played seriously, and respectfully, not this chaotic GARBAGE

Ah, the allure of chess as a game of kings - dignified, serious, and respectful, you say. Yet, let's muse for a moment on the nature of kingship itself. Most honest kings, if they could share a pint with us at the local tavern, might lean in and confide that, despite their lofty crowns and heavy robes, they too are but men. Men who, in the solitude of their chambers, succumb to the same temptations and simple pleasures as any other. The rush of a quick decision, the thrill of an unexpected move, the chaotic dance of life that mirrors the very essence of humanity. This rapid version of chess? It's but another facet of that same coin. To dismiss it as 'chaotic GARBAGE' is to overlook the beauty of human complexity, the very thing that kings and commoners alike navigate daily. Just as a monarch must make swift decisions in the throes of governance, so too does this variation of chess demand quick wit and adaptability. It's not a departure from the dignity of chess, but an ode to the multifaceted nature of all who play it - kings and commoners alike.

I am so long gone from chess now. Sometimes it really does make me sad. But that little check move, and capture with another check, at 17:25 I really did appreciate. With so little time he recognized he could gain material without really losing a move. Or something like that. You are very fun to watch. Although my understanding is fading, too quickly.

Sadly, despite being a polymath and starting at age 3-4; excelling in pretty much every sport I did, I lost my dad early on and focused on other sports/disciplines, and my chess is mediocre at best. But, like you, I also like to pretend I'd be a IM at least if only dad hadn't passed away. (Truth is, I doubt that extremely much given my chess now haha).
