    Wow, thank you, Lisa! That’s amazing to hear!!! Not yet, but it’s a super quick technique to explain and do 🙌 Dry emboss your background, then stamp it. The ink only stamps the raised areas, so you get that great pattern running through the letters. I specifically embossed this background with a background die and embossing mat.

    Great video with lots of helpful tips! I was surprised how many of them I did not know. I can't help but ask tho, couldn't you just put the greeting on the inside of the card? Or split half the greeting to the inside? I've always found it puzzling why so few people show us how to handle the inside of the card and have it relate to the front.

  • @inkhillrevival289

    @inkhillrevival289

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi there, thank you! Totally you could split part of the sentiment into the inside. Putting the main sentiment outside and the sub-sentiment inside is a really easy way to relate the two areas. I almost never use a sentiment inside because I usually make A2 cards and they’re kinda limited on writing space in my opinion, especially when every member of the family is adding a little note 😂 But if you don’t need as much space or you make bigger sized cards, it’s a great spot for a sentiment. Also I do like the design variety a sentiment on the front adds! Thanks so much for watching ❤️

  • @inkhillrevival289

    Oh what an interesting question! I’ve not tried, but my best guess is a tacky glue that you let dry to its tacky state first just might work. As long as it doesn’t bubble or react strangely to heat when melting the powder. Could totally be worth experimenting with! People use embossing powders on double sided tape all the time very successfully.
