Are You Doing These Things In Your Business?

🎥 | Welcome to another #FMCorner! We had a great time seeing so many good friends at RFMA last week in Washington DC. It was a great show.
💡 Today, Part 3 of Business lessons learned.
To cap it off, Danny is talking about
🔸 Providing value for your customer
🔸 Everyone being on same page
🔸 Doing the right thing for the long run
🔸 Providing value for your customer - Communication is critical, as always. Anticipate what the customer needs/wants and provide it. Make positive suggestions that will help the customer improve which in turn builds trust for you and the customer.
Do what you say when you say it. Be transparent, honest, own your mistakes and fix them. Work hand in hand with your customer.
🔸Being on the same page - It is vital for your company to be on the same page. What are we all working towards? What is the goal, what values define our company, are we all pushing forward as one group ? Hold team members equally accountable with one set of rules and define/speak often of where the company is going, and how we all have a role in getting there together.
🔸 Doing the right thing for the long run - There are times you must make a short term decision, which is fine, but you want to always work toward benefits for the long term. Too many short term decisions without thought for the long term can come back to haunt you. Keep in mind the long term and how decisions impact growth in the long term.
