Phenomenal news hearing about the advancements in the electronics, especially re: wheelie assist. I myself have a '15 Tuono and even with my wheelie ctrl on 1 it hammers the front wheel back down with the brake + power cut combo. This more new-BMW-style of wheelie/slide control sounds fantastic! Cannot wait to eventually upgrade to a newer model over the next couple of years, wonderful review mate!

Great video. Thanks for your effort in doing it. Those Aprilia's look great. Had an 02 RSV and really miss it. They're marmite bikes but i feel they are proper bikes and the styling is stunning. Keep up the good work mate.

Wow, great breakdown and on track video Abhi, thank you! Wish I could've done the same during my Aprilia trackday but for some reason the organizer wouldn't allow it 😕. You hit it right on the head with the electronics. Aprilia's seem to just only help you go faster as opposed to Ducatis' which I've heard are more intrusive and seem to "ride the bike" for you. And Aprilia has always seem to nail down the handling and chassis, even more so for this year. Much like Yamaha, they are just so much more nimble and gives you the confidence to ride those corners aggressively. But one only has to see the results currently in Motogp to know it's true. Looking forward to more videos, stay safe brother!

Interesting video, I’ve always liked the RSVF Especially the original model with the angled megaphone exhaust 👍 I’m currently ridding A GSXR1000K2 and I find I’m just managing to prevent myself going into orbit when negotiating small roundabouts or tight U turns as the cable throttle prefers to be either on or off.

The new RSV4 models are very tame and subtle but still very ferocious. I can totally understand the on and off throttle too , I had a 2006 Suzuki which did the same . If you ever get to test ride the new RSV4, definitely try it

I miss my 18 RSV4 RF I ride a V4S now. Great but not the same. Id love to have both in my garage at the same time... We'll get there.

I know a few people who have both , the 18RF was a game changer , by that time Aprilia had ironed out most of the issues and I truly believe the 18 and the 19 are brilliant. the new one off course is another level. Enjoy your V4S , mould it to you , it will get better and better

If the bike is in engine level 1 the throttle is very aggressive… but in engine level 2 its perfect and still gives you full power.

It was a mild call out ;) but had to be done lol . These bikes are manufactured not only with cost in mind but also to please people of all riding styles and ages including pillion carrying riders so people who complain about OEM stuff need to take a chill pill at times lol

did you modify your track settings or leave it in factory track settings? by the way after getting the update on my bike fixed all the issues on my bike

Best way to explain that is simply as if the engine was a low down flat twin configuration with inherently low centre of gravity , if you remember the Subaru Impreza or certain Porsche models had a very low boxer like positioned engine so cornering was brilliant. Similarly here, it feels like the centre of gravity is quite low , also on the Aprilia RSV4 you can change engine placement , there are three different positions where you can mount it or place it in the chassis for better feel & handling (but I think very advanced racers do that)

I agree I really wish they had that I recently did a trackday with a 2017 L7 Suzuki GSXR and that had fuel gauge , I think the Aprilia 660RS got it too so I wonder why they don’t have it on all superbikes

OEM gearing is long geared mate but bike was very stable in 1st gear , very smooth fueling
