    Another great video, I had some one come to me and say I need to back off the front at Almeria just like you 😂. I had a peg dig in shortly after and send me right out to the curbs but I got lucky. Talking tyres I was running KR106/108 and they were super impressive and the wear was great. More grip than the VO2s even. I also used the 195 rear as my 2009 blade isn't that powerful and they dropped me down to a 1.49 flat. Made the bike turn like a 600. Keep those vids coming this year 💪

  • @ChasingTenths

    Yes , I definitely felt my toe dig in to the tarmac and felt the rear go light on me and weight transferred to the front and I was already leaning too much and the tyre couldn’t cope .. lesson learnt for sure … Those Dunlops are super impressive I just try them next time It really saves you changing tyres if they last 3 to 4 days plus they take multiple heat cycles You doing 1:49 with 2009 blade at almeria is epic mate Thanks for watching and appreciation Means a lot mate

    Abhi...first session of the video was amazing; very clean lines,intelligent riding in terms of how and where you choose to overtakes your friend on the gixxer ,and the '''early'''' roll ons of the throttle exiting the corners were perfect. We all have our personal '''kryptonite '''' corner which we misunderstand on any tracks,yours here seems to be corner 2-3 LOL!!! No limits track days looks like all class,wondering what is the in and out total expense for such trip.As for the crash,look....i perfectly know that this corner ..i would hate it .simply hate it because this kink,you brake hard while transfering the weight rear to front while turning,aand if your suspension isn't settled up very well,the weight transfer happens kinda too late ,while you're into a turn in which is bad for grip LOL...and yeah,your front was probably well shot when it happened LOL.lets say that you're extracting the last drop of grip of your tires .

  • @ChasingTenths

    @ChasingTenths

    4 ай бұрын

    Very well summarised there Sylvan, that first corner had a big jump so as you are entering first corner the bike is already unsettled a bit and Offcourse not having fresh tires and just pushing too too hard doesn’t help the situation… corner 2 to 3 I was very quick but then 3 to 4 could have been better No limits were amazing Absolutely brilliant track event All in all I was very happy with progress Just need to work ok little things and mindset and everything else will follow

    That’s just the crank power mate But the power on the back wheel is different The two Suzukis in the video were 205 and 207 bhp respectively not on the crank but on the dyno And I am 176 bhp maximum on the back wheel You can see how quickly they accelerate from me But I reel them in on braking And that’s what I was trying to showcase I really love my bike The power is so so manageable and unless I do something stupidly silly. Which i did lol , it’s really hard to crash an Aprilia too , front grip is amazing

    @@ChasingTenths ok thats fair enough. It may be the case with those particular bikes that they are much more powerful, but as standard the gsxr is the same as yours pretty much at the wheel, i know this as mine is 178. It is remarkable how much difference the line taken can alter the speed you can build up down a straight, and more so the initial jump on corner exit. Thats an area of riding i worked on myself whilst at Andalucia.

    @@HB-wu8pz exactly spot on that , Suzuki ECU’s are in an open relationship lol , they work with a number of tuning softwares You can tune the hell out of them I really respect that bike It’s a really tuneable bike But love the Aprilia hands down Any day

    @@ChasingTenthsmy bike has been on a dyno twice, 1st time when it had lower mileage it made 184 at the back wheel and the 2nd time last year with 25,000 miles it was just shy of 180 at back wheel. They are fantastic engines but the electronics are 💩

    I definitely felt the rear go light on me as my toe really dug into the tarmac for a milli second and I felt the rear go light and then there was a slight weight transfer to the front and front was gone
