Snatch was such a perfect film. The script is so good that i could watch it for the 20th time and it will still have me buckled. Each of the actors really made their character come to life, and it all culminated into one of the most memorable, most quotable movies of all time. Perhaps i'm biased, being British and having such a strong focus on British humor.. but Snatch is both the only British crime and only British comedy movie that will never get old no matter how many times I've seen it. Truly a benchmark for British cinema, I really cant overstate just how much i love this movie.

@@jefferycrouch4396 how all these cinematic universes should be. It's all good and well for Marvel and the likes to be doing these big cinematic universes, but for the more realistic movies, why do we need some complicated universe? A director universe that may or may not be connected is far more exciting. Picking up on little things in Tarantinos films is fun, but the different movies crossing over any more than a small nod here and there, wouldn't add to any of his movies, same as Guys stuff, but almost most certainly restrict the creative process and the end result wouldn't be as good.

@@leewoo-jin Actually that kind of proves it...What I mean by that is The guy I refer to who left the future projects was actually Guy Ritchie himself(the writer).. I kind of get it. Guy went to school with Graham Joseph, my best mate in Hong Kong. We popped back to London in the early 90's and ended up in an office in Soho watching the showreel used to sell Lock Stock to Polygram...Graham brought that showreel back to HK, but it went missing after he showed it to a few people he thought might be interested in financing it...Graham sadly passed away in 2000. Possibly the saddest day ever losing a mate. He told me so many stories about him and Guy and their school holiday exploits and that one day Guy would be making a movie about all his mates...Guy would tell you that GJ The G-Force would be the dude growing and selling weed from within the fortress...I actually fitted heavy duty grilles on his flat in Hollywood road...such awesome memories flooding back typing this... Do you really have to ask? 😉 Even though Brads interpretation of the Mikey was absolutely mind-blowing (and definiteôy deserved the Oscar!), it didn't meet the "tacit" criteria of: the uppish "Academy". Although at those times, the Academy decision were not SOLELY driven by feminism, genderism and "racial b..l,s.!t", the "Snatch" movie still irritated them by showing new methods, having balls and joke. In other words - "THE" 3 things the "glorious Academy" actually hates like pest. 😄

Snatch is a prime example of the fortunate confluence of right time, right place, right people. I think Guy kind of knows this because instead of saying that he would like to try to make a third movie, he says "If I knew then what I know now." It is very much of its time, but for those of us who are also of that time, it is timeless - it will never get old.

Hope you can make "thinking man" scripts, intelligent Rubix cube type mysterious screen play puzzles, that the audience becomes engaged in the plot and characters as Snatch did so effectively. All the best in your artistic endeavors, as the world needs scripts far above the current drivel of vapid blockbuster plots and cliche storylines. Blockbusters now taste like stale movie popcorn, give us something fresh and original if possible. Regards. Keep us posted when your movie comes out.

How’s it going?
Lock Stock, Snatch, and The Gentlemen are fantastic films.

I’d like to add Rocknrolla to that list.

Revolver and RocknRolla can be added to that list too. Both criminally under rated.

Revolver and RocknRolla are not good movies, not at all. Snatch is one of the best ever made and Lock, Stock is damn good. Haven't watched The Gentleman but I hear it's up there with Lock, Stock and maybe even a bit better.
The idea that Ritchie and Statham haven't watched Snatch in 15-20 years blows my mind. I watch it at least once a year
Hands Down my Favorite Director.. Not one bad film... Not A One.
I still have not forgiven him for suggesting there would be a Rocknrolla 2 and then failing to deliver. We can handle a whole new group of actors of his choosing but it is something that needs to happen. Such a talented person.

Gotta disagree with you there dude...I'd love it but you couldn't change the cast. I don't think I could watch it if they recast Idris, Tom Hardy, Gerard Butler, Mark Strong or especially Toby Kebbel. I'd rather he make us the sequel for The Man from UNCLE. It was so obviously set up and could be so much fun.

I still haven't forgave him making rock'n rolla in the first place

Adam Randall needs to be one of the top comments. I'd prefer as much of the original cast as possible, but I doubt that's possible and I trust Guy Ritchie's instincts and character/actor choices.

I've read the studio hated the movie so they didn't want a sequel. Plus it didn't do well on box office. How is that possible?!

Rocknrolla was utter garbage compared to his previous work
Wow Vinnie sounds like an absolute gentleman
Watched so many times. Classic Film
These films like lock stock, snatch, reservoir dogs and pulp fiction are a massive part of my youth and great times back then . Hearing Guy say he's got the third movie in his head, I wish he'd go on and make it.
