Lock, Stock and Snatch are two of the best movies ever created. Utter genius. Never ever get bored of either of them. Phenomenal scripts, impeccable casting, slick AF cinematography and outstanding soundtracks. Movies just dont get any more perfect.

I watched both movies and I gotta say i like the few UK origin cinemas Ive come across. My main problem with both movies is, a slight over pretentiousness and a common tendency to bore me by dragging on scenes unnecessarily. Though I admit, the pictures are beautiful.

So true. It is one of the few films I have rewatched _immediately_ after viewing. Then I jumped online and bought the DVD to boot. Beautifully done beginning to end, and it still gobsmacks new viewers. Even my teen grandkid and her friends were riveted; "copious amounts of ganja" entered their everyday lexicon. 😉

this is the only "facts you didn't know" channel that actually is giving refreshing and new facts.

One of my favourite movies of all time. Can vividly remember watching it at the cinema with friends and it becoming an instant classic

Man, got even more respect for Tom Cruise now. Love this movie. As a kid, always thought Snatch was older than Lock Stock, due to picture quality and camera work. Now it is clear why: camera techniques, lens filters and themed clothing/room decorations. I am a bit sad that Ritchie's talent got Disney'd. Hope we will get more of his masterful story telling and characters after he is done with the nuthouse. The Gentlemen movie kept my love and trust alive, despite several failures.

The Gentleman was a pleasant and much needed nod to the past from guy richie, an instant classic in a time when classics were no longer being made. I hope he can find some inspiration for another great film.

Tom Cruise was also instrumental in getting the low budget but brilliant film NARC made. Ray Liotta, Jason Patric and the rest of the cast and crew went unpaid for weeks working in freezing temperatures with the film close to shutting down. Tom Cruise read the script, saw the rushes and made sure that the film was made. He later became an executive producer on the film. Fantastic film!

I expected to get some half-assed clickbait but this was actually very good, interesting and informative. Thank you! *subscribed right away*

Thank you for this explanatory video. Phenomenal film and criminally underrated on IMDB.

I lived in a rural area and would do delivery’s to the city once a week. Get my deliveries out of the way quick then hit the cinema for the afternoon. Loved this one so much i went back and saw it again the next week. Still watch it at least once a year.

Revolver was a damn good Guy Ritchie film. But this one will always be my favorite next to Snatch. I can watch those two films over and over and over.

It’s a good film & still holds up today.

@@silewis9396 Wtf? It's not a movie from the 50s, movies from around the time of this actually seem even better now because of how bad movies now are and constantly watching shit on tv, at the time of release movies like this were taken for granted

My DVD player doesn't need the disc any more. It has learned to play this film by heart. (Same as SNATCH) - thanks for the vid, it was brilliant :)

One of my absolute faves... even seeing old school actors from shows like Grange Hill (England's version of DeGrassi basically), was just pure genius. SO much good about this film...and then Snatch, with Brad Pitt as a pikey, was f'ing hilarious.

The end of the movie on the bridge, is a nod to the literal cliffhanger at the end of Michael Caine's Italian Job.

Hilarious movie. I really dig just how these movies are shot, plus the English comedy always slay me. I've lived in England for a year and its very different from America so the accents, words and cultural differences weaved into a comedy bring out one hell of a good time. SNATCH was my favorite but lock, stick was way up there too.

In fact, watching this video is making me wanting to watch the movie again for the hundredth time!

I've watched several of your docs & have to say they are excellent. This was the best yet, I thought I knew it all about lock stock, 1 of my fav movies, but today learnt something new... good job

At the end of the film, Vinny jumps into a silver AC Cobra. This was a Crendon CR427 replica supplied by John Kerr from Crendon replicas. It was his demonstrator. We visited John in 1997 and purchased a Crendon AC Replica. John recounted the loan of the car for filming and that he had to show Vinny how to quickly get into the car.

Snatch and RocknRolla 2 of my most favourite films ever made.

This was my fav movie of all time until Snatch came out, but I still love Lock Stock, myself and a few friends went to see this movie at a drive in cinema in Norwich in 1999, our first time at a drive in and it was awesome, wish they would do more of those in the uk!

I first saw this film back in the day on a snide vhs copy I got from the market which added to its retro washed-out colourless effect , dam I wish I still had that . Masterpiece

Lock Stock is one of my most favourite movies. I got to briefly work on Snatch and met Guy. Nice guy and bigger than you would expect.

Never knew that about the cast and Jason Stratham especially, love stories like that. Excellent video lad, love this film even more than Snatch

7:58 I was scared too the first time I watched this scene. And amazed by the insane display of anger for such a trivial reason. Vinnie Jones kinda has that crazy look in his eyes 😅.

I never once thought of Pulp Fiction watching this. Honestly, I would watch a Guy Ritchie movie over a Tarantino movie any day of the week.

That truly was everything (or at leatst many) I did not know about that film. I loved that film and Guy Ritchie from the start. A truly excellent film, and I would say most of his later films are just as good.

You missed that the guy at the end being drowned by Barry the Baptiste is Tim Maurice-Jones, the cinematographer on the film!

Best movie So under rated due to lack of exposure to the general public

Stings Wife, Tom Cruise and Madonna are the reason I was able to see this and buy the soundtrack and listen to it thousands of times.

Brilliant film lost count how many times I’ve seen it

I remember that in the UK it had the highest home video/DVD rentals and sales of the year. It came and went at the cinema and most people missed it, myself included. But in the UK EVERYONE made sure they saw it on DVD as the buzz around it was massive like we had our own Tarantino. So I remember reading more people rented and bought it than even big Hollywood blockbusters. Every young person had to see it. It is so rare we get a decent British movie that isn't a costume drama. Trainspotting is the only one that I remember creating a bigger buzz in the UK.

@@hilly451 Agreed - Long Good Friday is an absolutely brilliant film. Let's not forget Plunkett and McLean, Barry Lyndon, The Full Monty, Get Carter, Sins of the Father, Caligula. And nothing beats the two Python movies. But Lock Stock is up there with the best of them.

I ran into Guy having drinks at a hotel bar in Beverly Hills with Mickey Rourke.

King fu fighting was written by an Indian immigrant to London called Biddu, no other name, it was at number one and he never had the bus fare to go home from the producers until his royalties came in. Asking the producer for an advance was futile, he told BIDDU to walk home. Biddu is today still a lovely guy married to Sue with two kids and an icon in india and music and film business.

Fun fact, my cousin used to play for Millwall FC, And he ripped a door off to get to Vinny Jones….to beat him up. Lol.

Editing, visuals, effects and music is on point, narrating is awesome, but needs a little more gain IMHO it’s too low compared with the end bumper.
