my man. the sight of such collection, the review of the different RSV's across the years with my 1st morning coffee is the best starter i could asks for ....so much that i reviewed the video 3 times just to see all the bikes lined up in all their glory lol. the new 2021 model with the new color scheme lava red is lovely. great review in details of the new bike. we can see your passion for aprilia. the new euro 5 regulation ...that is crazy!!! how much weight does this add to the bike. then, how many more ponies are waiting to be unboxed with a delete-new exhaust.

Thank you so much mate , really nice msg, wonderful of you , I think a Dyno test of this bike will be much awaited by everyone , I will try to make a video on that soon, I am sure the bike will easily be 5 to 8 bhp more , Aprilias are very smooth curved bikes anyways , you never get huge bhp after a remap , its hard to remap these in the first place , also depends on how easy going the dyne is and rear tyre and everything. will definitely do a video on that , good pointer. I think an Akra supplied by the dealer with a Aprilia Akra map should be enough , RSV4 likes less complicated external fuelling help, from experience lol

@@snikwadRR yes mate but this is a total revamp of electronics . No more Bosch , it’s Marelli 6 axis race imu built from scratch around everything else, it’s more race orientated and it’s not just a bolt on 6 axis IMU just to keep things for fresh keep sake, the whole 6 axis IMU electronics with lean sensitivity and ABS , slide control are more intuitive, progressive and dynamic and work together in harmony not individually. I noticed before especially in wet, the power would be on and off and jerky even in between corners especially somewhere like Portimao where I struggled with this big time but at a flatter circuit like Silverstone or Jerez, i had no issues Before the electronics were more aggressive, this time they encourage you more to take the piss and they aren’t just to save your ass anymore if things go pear shaped, they work with you to achieve faster times and allow you to really get the back end out and trail brake until the earth stops rotating. I have a really good relationship two dealerships in Germany and Belgium , they have a test mule at the moment so they are loving it

I can definitely assure you mate , they would still be the king of race tracks , they haven't lost that ability since 2009 , they never try to over complicate things. For example , they knew they have the best chassis in the business so they changed everything else but not that. Why change something which has been working so so well. S1000 is not slouch mate, enjoy that till it dies, which it would never lol

hey Abhi How you doing Sir? I just love your reviews, so informative! And yeah Euro Fighter would be a right pig if it wasn't for the computers fitted. Anyway, back to bikes. I love the bike but not everything, there's few bits I'm scratching my head at. The tank looks lower like the 2009 and the tiny 'chopped off' tail I so love has grown a little too much. The best things are those winglets, they look like they were thought of, like when a F1 race car designer puts pencil to paper - love them so much! The dash is now better looking than anything out there, even better than the BMW dash. Love the built into the headlight front indicators too. Mirrors are for the bin on any race bike, be it on or off road.

Great job Abhi 👍 I first stumbled upon your channel when I was researching some light weight wheels for my Panigale, thanks to your very thorough reviews and weight comparisons I’ve now got a set of carbon BST’s on order from Bikehps! I really like the look of this new RSV4, and great job on this detailed breakdown, but when you do get to ride one of these can you comment on some of the points below please- How do the ergonomics compare to the last model? It looks to be slightly bigger and a less extreme tucked position, bars a touch higher perhaps? Also is there any room under the pillion seat cover at all, enough to get a puncture repair kit in? And finally, I almost bought a 2019 V4 Tuono electronic suspension model and the only thing that stopped me was when I discovered that you can’t change the suspension settings on the fly when the bike is moving? Why on earth not ?? My friends can change the damping on their BMWs while they are moving and this is how electronic suspension should be, if I have to stop the Aprilia to change suspension mode, all my mates would be a dot on the horizon by the time I sort it out. Can you confirm if the new RSV4 has to stop to change suspension modes please Abhi ? If you can’t change the suspension settings on the move, it renders it totally useless in my book , or the suspension mode should be linked into the engine mode so that they both change together, so if your in race mode, suspension is in stiffest ASC1, Then you hit a bumpy road or rain, so you change the engine map to Sport and the suspension automatically drops to a softer ASC3 setting without having to stop the bike , now that would be really useful 👍 Keep up the good work mate, very thorough reviews and great information

Just a tiny detail or two though, did you say it has Slide Control and no Electronic Steering Damper? I'm sure my 2020 has an electronic damper that adjusts automatically with the engine modes and suspension? Slide Control is awesome! This is a very good question, I normally take my Aprilia RSV4 RF on track never on road , I even upgraded the factory ohlins on that model to pure race ohlins. My answer is , So if someone is going to buy the bike only for track then , base model is perfect , then upgrade to aftermarket race suspension and lighter wheels (carbon even) and it becomes a track weapon, if it’s road use only then the factory model is a great tool to show off at the local bikers cafe.

@@doncappo1509 ooohh mate , now you are asking a tough one. You see , Aprilia has a wonderful pedigree of pure racing. Especially with tightly packaged bikes. I love that bmw but I still think it’s more of an all around nicey nicey sports bike which does everything wonderfully well but Aprilia is just an out an out racer from ground up. The best example is their chassis, they knew their bike had the best chassis in sportsbike class so for the new model they didn’t bother changing it , why change something which is class leading year on year. They did replace the swing arm as the more torque & power demanded a stiffer under slung swing arm. BMW does everything well, it’s a great road bike & it’s a great track bike but it’s not got the soul of the V4 Aprilia ( forgive me for being a little bias) but trust me I have ridden both & BMW is definitely radical but then that’s just the wonderful German way, they showed is in 2010 & now but so did Aprilia in 2010 & now. I love the fact that BMW give carbon wheels with the bike plus their dash is just unbelievably dynamic but on the otherside aprilia’s wheels are only 400 grams heavier than carbon , I did a video weighing all the wheels (check my KZread videos ) and Aprilia had the lightest wheels even compared to After market wheels and the new Aprilia dash is much better now too. I still think Aprilia should have been cheaper plus they should have made it more special with carbon bits here and there but that’s Aprilia for you, they want you to feel great riding it rather than just a show piece. You have made the right choice mate, you will never get bored of the V4 sound .

@@ChasingTenths I appreciate your in-depth comments. I just sold my ducati V4 with arrow exhaust and had an 18 tuono with a graves can and man both bikes give me such a soul stirring experience, visceral even. With that being said I do track days a few times a season (nothing as committed as you ). I agree the price is a few grand more than the new beemer but they both don’t have the carbon bits of a R1M or the fit and finish of say a ducati V4. I just wish I had the resources for all of them :) either way i think I love the Italian pedigree and V4 over the inline BMW.
