I am in the process of healing and recovering from the depression he caused and I don't care if he lives or dies as long as he does it as far away as possible from me. It may sound harsh but how can anyone expect me to miss a man I never really knew? He didn't even try to be a good father

I’m a damaged person and because of what she put me through, some stuff still affects me today. I feel mixed emotions. You do what’s best for you because at the end of the day, you only have yourself. People will turn on you and hurt you. Work on becoming a better person & healing. This song hurts. A lot. Not because I was the victim, but because I was the abuser. After a lot of help I grew a conscious, and realized the damage I did. And seeing the shit I caused? How I broke her like I did? I have permanent regret issues now. I don't think I'll ever really atone for that. This.... This song is just a living reminder of what I did. And that's why I listen to it. It's helping me nail into my brain what I did to someone. And making sure I never make that mistake again. It's been around 4 or 5 years since I tried to amend what I did, and I'm no closer. But this song is a perfect encapsulation of what it's like to be a victim to my limited understanding, from talking to her to try to fix this. And it's amazing to hear, while still... Painful. Feel free to harass, I probably deserve it. I fucked up bad.

What I love abt their songs is that you can apply them to multiple different situations and this is one of those golden songs out of multiple songs by three days grace which is perfect bc ultimately music is the best therapy or at least I feel that way and I'm sure others do too

I can relate to this song and it has to do with a lot of my mental health but I’ve come this far there’s no point in giving up

That' a song by Apocalyptica, not TDG. Only Adam was featured in it, not the whole band. Just saying
