I love how Lauri's voice sounds like someone who is going through a lot of pain, and his voice is intense and angry, whereas Ville's voice is calm, like he's been through a lot of pain but in now so numb and calm and has accepted that he is suffering... it's like we are seeing and hearing someone's past self and present self at the same time, singing the same song, but with different emotions

@@Lazvin4u I’ve been a fan for 15 years. I will say, I wasn’t a Screamworks back then. But my feelings towards it have changed and I can appreciate it for what it is now. I like hearing Villes accent came out more in that album than in any of the others and the screams we got were good. I don’t think I appreciated it properly back then. TOT is still one I listen to, but I don’t have any of the songs memorized.

POV: you haven’t listened to it for a decade but you still remember every single second of this masterpiece

The stark contrast between their voices is unbelievable yet they fit so well together! Such a beautiful and timeless song. HIM was my obsession as a teenager and I listen to the occasional Rasmus songs too, Ylönen has such a powerful and beautiful voice as does Ville Valo.

Long live Finland for giving us such amazing artists!

The Rasmus, H.I.M, and Apocalyptica are exceptionally talented Finnish musicians.

I love the harmony between their voices... and the cellos complement it all perfectly... by far one of my favorite songs.

In 2004 I was 11 years old and didn't understand the lyrics but was hypnotized by their voices and the video. 15 years later I still feel mesmerized by this song. valo's deep and effortless singing accompanied by lauri's emotional voice I'm just like WOW this is masterpiece for my ears and such a melancholic lyric ❤️ hhh sorry I'm about to cry

It's like two separate stories of two men who love a woman that plays them for fools. Valo is broken and deep taking a more depressed outlook on the situation, were lauri is more frustrated and can't understand how this woman won't accept him.

If you have to fight back tears, you know the song is hitting a dark and painful place in your heart. Ville's voice always comforts the pain.

One of the most romantic songs and video ever. What man wouldn’t want to resurrect his girl from the ashes! Now that is dedication and love! A dark love. Just saying! ❤

I like Lauri's voice but Ville's is just completely effortless. The fact that he can also sing as high as Lauri when he wants to is a testament to his range. It's insane!

I love how one's voice is deep and warm and the other's is high pitched and chilling. Both reflect pain.

Lauri Ylönen is the most underrated lead singer of all time, The Rasmus is great, but the guy is out of theyr league, look how great he sounds with Apocalyptica, feels bad one of the greatest voices in Rock, cant be heard..
