You’re absolutely right, he could sing a Chinese phone book!!! One of the best voices in any genre of music, period.. I don’t think he’s underrated though, at least IMO.. he gets crazy praise for his voice and rightfully so!! He’s probably my favorite voice in rock music without a doubt!!

For me the older ones are the best. We can genuinely see their efforts/feelings in writing their lyrics unlike nowadays songs they just write one sentence throughout the entire song it's just that the beat is different or similar to the other songs, and is 99% using auto tune.

Brent has one of best voices in any genre of music hands down.

So many years later. This song still kicks me in the face. Brent's ballistic voice coupled with Apocalyptica's sound. Just holy heaviness!

I actually convinced the DJ booked for my prom to put this on and convinced the teachers to let me sing it. Now I wasn't expecting anyone else to like it because all of them were loving the pop music that they seem to enjoy nowadays but by the end I had half of my class up on stage with me singing along. I think I made some new apocalyptica fans

I had something simmaler but it was with the dj and the lonely islands song the creep, like 50 people were on the dance floor laughing and dancing like the needs we were

I love ALL kinds music, no caps!!! I truly believe music has healing powers! I had never listened to this band before. I came on here looking for a connection between Lacy Sturm’s song with them, and found it! This is why she shows up at the end of this video. Great band, great voice, and I love Lacy Sturm 🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼

This song hits so close to my life at this point. 20 years with the love of my life,I destroyed the 1 good thing I had. I will never be strong enough to move on.

Dougs version is full of passion and raw emotion. Brents version is powerful and commands respect. Both are fantastic in there own way

I will forever love this version but something about the Doug Robb version you can just hear the pain and emotion in his voice he truly brought the song to life. But Brent Smith made this song what it is. I’m thankful for both versions. Thank you Apocalyptica for creating such an AMAZING SONG!!!!!
