Lyrics:
This world will never be
What I expected
And if I don't belong
Who would have guessed it
I will not leave alone
Everything that I own
To make you feel like it's not too late
It's never too late
Even if I say
It'll be alright
Still I hear you say
You want to end your life
Now and again we try
To just stay alive
Maybe we'll turn it all around
'Cause it's not too late
It's never too late

zweig - If anybody thinks rock is violent it’s because they’ve never heard it before. Best genre by far, I used to be a hip hop head, thought rock was satanic or something because of the stereotypes people have on rock. Its actually the opposite, lyrics in Rock music are some of the most inspiring. Mostly about overcoming tough situations, loving people around you and having a good time.

This song was used in my brother's memorial after he committed suicide. he'd be 34 today. Happy Birthday Jer, I'm sorry I couldn't save you. EDIT: To everyone that has responded, I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart. I didn't expect this to blow up like it did, I just wrote it when i was in a dark place. I'm doing a lot better now, it still hurts but not as much as it did. Thank you for your kind words they really mean a lot and they have helped. Take of yourselves tell your loved ones how much they mean to you, remember that you're valued, loved, and worth it. God bless. EDIT 2: Thanks again for all the nice comments again. I just want to add something that I read recently. "You want to die? Then throw yourself into the sea and you'll see yourself fighting to survive. You do not want to kill yourself, rather you want to kill something inside of you." Please, find a way to kill that thing inside you without it killing you too. Thank you

I've noticed lately that the comment sections on many old music videos have gone mostly silent. As in, most of the comments are from 3 years ago or earlier. Either people are watching on KZread TV, avoiding the comments, or, worst, have stopped paying attention to these songs. It's honestly kind of sad and makes you feel kind of lonely. But I'm always happy when there's at least some evidence that people are still watching.

The song "Never Too Late" by Three Days Grace discusses themes of hope, redemption, and personal transformation. It primarily focuses on the message that it's never too late to make a positive change in one's life. The lyrics touch upon the struggles and hardships one may face, but emphasizes the resilience and ability to overcome those obstacles. The song serves as a reminder that even in the darkest times, there is always a chance for redemption and self-improvement.

this song literally prevented me from unaliving myself more times than I'd like to admit during high school. Life was thrash back then, I was bullied, assaulted, my parents were assholes and I'd love to say life got better but no, I am not even a functional adult, my mental health don't let me keep a job and I can't afford therapy anymore and I am just in a limbo where I don't even know what to do, or why am I even alive, like what for? Anything makes sense anymore and three days grace has been my safe place... I stop listening to them for ages, but I came across this song today and it took me back tho high school days and I am clinging to this song with all my heart as I did before. As in high-school, 3DG and my service Dog are the only ones keeping me alive rn and I don't even know if it's gonna get better

I don't know who you are but I'm in the same boat. I haven't felt any feelings in a long time and suddenly things are just coming back, and I found this song again. I am in a state of "functional freeze" (I just learned about it, sounds like what you're describing-hard to function from prolonged stress, overwhelm), and I get it. I feel stuck, trapped still by the chains of my past. Thanks for reminding me that no matter how niche my issues may seem, a lot of people are dealing with very similar things and I'm not alone in my struggle. My parents were the worst, years of no contact by now. They didn't protect me from the evils lurking in this world. I was homeless, addicted, barely made it out alive to be honest. Many, many scars from the many attempts to end it all. Now I am so overwhelmed with the memories that haunt me, I cannot function like a normal person. You're bound to other humans by your shared pain and grief and trauma. So many people deeply understand your suffering and although it doesn't make our situations any better, there's at least always going to be that human connection. Through lots of care and healing and therapy, your connection to your humanity will be something you always have to hold onto. Please take care of yourself. Go easy on yourself and do not be harsh. You are not to blame for all of the chaos that brought you to this point. It's your job to just hold on, just do what you can, and find a way to work through some of it. Therapy has helped keep me alive. Finding a way to understand what happened and how to put yourself back together has helped me tremendously, just to be able to put a word/name to things that happened ( like narcissistic a b u s e, and learning about complex PTSD). Sorry for the long winded response, I just really resonated with your comment and wanted you to know you're not alone, even if you feel super alone in your thoughts and feelings (as I often do). Hoping you find some comfort and peace along this journey of life. You're incredibly resilient, and you have it within you to use it as your superpower, you just have to work through some of the stuff holding you back. I believe in you. ❤

Also, there are a ton of resources on KZread, if therapy isn't a viable option right now. Patrick Teahan, the crappy childhood fairy, Jordan Thornton - inner work, and HealthyGamerGG (even if you're not a gamer...top notch mental health resource) there's so many more depending on the specific issues that are most important. Also, The Body Keeps The Score by Bessel Van Der Kolk is a great book for learning about how to deal with trauma, it's one of the best. Dr Gabor Mate is also a good resource here on KZread. There's so much out there, a lot of creators have free printable resources as well. Idk if this will be helpful or just a whole bunch of unsolicited advice and resources, but I hope you find something from here that helps.

There are good ways to get affordable therapy like Betterhelp try it out. Your mental health can be improved variety of ways you just gotta find the one that fits best. It's normal to wanna live everyone has the right until they give that up by taking someone else's and besides psychology wise our bodies are programmed to try its best to prevent a suicide just how its hard to bite your tongue on purpose not impossible but your body does what it can to prevent it despite wanting to. Nobody knows their purpose because there was none to begin with, life has no meaning because its just that life, but the way I see it is its good to give it meaning as if adding paint to a white room you just wanna color it make it more lively. Life feels meaningless when you have nothing looking forward to it or when you expect it to have something for you but its empty, once more life is just like that there's nothing and expecting something from it is kinda dumb. There is no fate that decided yep this is how you live your life every choice you made is because you made it not some god or whatever its all you. Same goes for giving yourself reason it was your choice to not look for one but am I picking on you for that? no its a common thing I've done it everyone has done it but its something we need to improve on if we wanna live. Even if your reason for living is small its still a reason and when that reason fades away you find a new one. Is it easy? No but like how people have said millions of times life is not easy and if it was suicide wouldn't be a thing. We all go through hardships some have it worse others seem to have it best but even they still feel the struggles of life. Now I did say as long as you got one thing no matter how small it is keeping you alive then its fine but in reality I recommend reaching out to new sources to keep you going its not healthy to rely on just 1 or 2 things take it slow no point in rushing it. Try putting in goals for your reasons to live like live until 50 or until I get married or whatever you get the picture but just keep working to it. Keep in mind your depression will never go away its apart of everyone so its not a matter of curing it but controlling it tr meditating without your phone or music that has lyrics. Perhaps try going on walks with your service dog but take it slow since you don't seem to do good emotionally. Go out and meet new people or sorry I guess meet online talk a bit meet up at some point or try the old way of talking to a person you see. A great way to get your mind more accustom to socializing is starting small talks with people hell just greeting people as you walk by helps. Try going for jobs that are smaller business wise for example try a dollar tree barely customers and its relatively small in most locations so people get accustomed to the layout and don't ask for help, then you gradually move up job wise once you are ready.

As someone who was raped at five by two neighborhood kids and had to endure verbal, mental and physical abuse from my father and my stepfather along with bullying at school there were many times I felt like ending my life but then I looked at my mother and brother and knew that I couldn't leave them and that no matter how much pain I was in I had to keep going. It hasn't been easy and at 42 I deal with severe anxiety, depression and PTSD but if I would have given up I wouldn't have my wonderful son. I wouldn't have a list of accomplishments. But this song really sticks to me because sometimes I often remember back to those times and remember how close I came to ending my own life.

All i can say is, healing will take time, you always have the power in your hands, in your decision making to change yourself and even the world. And people who do heal from the most traumatic incidents have an absolute strength behind them, so use it to do the right thing. And maybe a piece of advice, chase your childhood dreams. That's what i did.

This song is not about rape in specific. This just depicts the point in a way most can understand..only a few understand to the furthest extent. This shows a woman experiencing pain from a past trauma (rape) the point this is trying to get to is it's never too late to rid your demons, to let go of the things tearing at you. You dont have to let things tear you down forever. You don't have to let the demons stay in this house you've locked your real self in. You aren't the only thing living in that house, the other main entity is fear among others. To move on you need to open the doors, let out those demons, but doing so opens up a world of vulnerability. You must experience this vulnerability to move past and conquer these demons. The past nor future defines you. You define you, 100% of the time.

Awesome gamer haha, could of guessed that exact scenario. I started understanding things such as this video after I hit my point about 6 months ago. I was actually just about to say I'm working on making a youtube channel to get out all the things I've learned after I hit that point, it's the exact same world just at a different angle. my goal with the channel would be to get across things like this video, things most people just don't have the words for. If I'm able to get to a few people among however many may watch them, I've succeeded. we're all on this earth just trying to be ok and it sucks that mist the population doesn't seem to realize it, blinded by their own problems to notice anyone elses.

  • @AceNizzle

    @AceNizzle

    7 жыл бұрын

Essentially by being at that point your forced into either giving up, or releasing those demons. What I was trying to get at is, more specifically, you don't have to get to that point to release your demons, get to that point and fight through and you'll see. Once you learn it for yourself you will change forever.

This song has a powerful message and it took me 10 years to figure it out: it's about this schizophrenic girl who was molested by her father and is on permanent bed rest because of the horrors she has encountered as a child and she often had thoughts of suicide hence in the song they say "still I hear you say you want to end your life" the birdman who is represented in this is her "guardian angel" in her mind but in reality it's either a cop or an actual guardian angel or even the devil punishing her father

This song starts out with a young girl happy with her life, dancing around in a circle. This shows them as one big happy family. When her parents leave the man with the sweater comes in and she has no one else so she trusts him. It shows the girl's parents with tape over their eyes to show that they can't see the pain she is going through. The woman being taken by the nurses is the little girl as a woman. She is being brought into an insane asylum because the pain of the days when the sweater man had molested her were too painful and brought her to try and commit suicide. The hands that are holding the woman down are the molester's hands because what he did brought her there. It keeps showing the little girl and they are the memories of the woman's innocence of childhood and how it was taken away. The black hand prints you see show that she was touched everywhere by the sweater man because you see the black ink on his hands. The winged man attacking the sweater man is not a demon as so many others have stated. He is her guardian angel and is attacking the molester (or sweater man) to protect her. As the guardian angel wins feathers start to fall on both the little girl and the woman showing that she is free from this memory of the molester. The woman walks away, smiling, not held down anymore because her guardian angel has freed her.

Abby Baer Yeah. The burden that they *feel* they are, not the burden they *actually* are. And in many cases, they're not burdens at all. Rather, these people that get that far into depression are usually the ones that are valued above all else by their families. *Unless of course, those families are either abusive or the family of Hitler, but that's beside the point.*

While I cannot say I have shared the same experience. I certainly empathize with you. I was ostracized and outcasted throughout most of my childhood and teenage life. Physical bullying, online bullying, verbal bullying, all that included. Whenever I hear this song it takes me back. Sure it reminds me of what trauma I went through, but it also allows me to remember what I've overcome. Mindfulness does a lot nowadays. While it's good to have self-love, a little help from others always helps.

Laurel and Hardy God ISNT dead bro. He’s just doesn’t there to save us that much. You have to pray more. And I seen him with my own eyes. If you want, you can go alone in a room pray all day about an hour or so and see what are your results. But sure, that is your opinion.

I miss the year 2020 when I met the best person in the whole world and spent a lot of time with her. I still hope to have more years at her side, this song made me meet her and makes me think about all the luck I had, and that I don't think I will ever have again. Thank you Three Days Grace for this song
