At the end of the day, this video is showing a real persons user experience with the product. The monitor ticks a lot of boxes that aren't usually available in that 43inch size. Want a massive montior for content creation and gaming, this has you covered. VA panels are plenty fine, the contrast more than makes up for any short comings. If you believe this monitor is too expensive, no one is forcing you to buy it, but it might be just what someone else wanted. If you want an OLED, get one. They are also great. Pros and Cons with everything. 😊

Tom's Hardware gave this a 4.5 out of 5 and said " For gaming, it has few equals. A huge and accurate color gamut coupled with high contrast, 4K resolution and 144 Hz makes it a great choice for both PC and console gamers." And to the "Get a CX" people. Obviously this varies by country but in Australia a 48"CX is $2800 vs this is $1650, pretty easy decision for me. Cheers for the review! PLE thinks they're getting stock tomorrow and I'll be picking one up for sure.

I only buy priced stuff at like November and I bet by then most likely I could get a Samsung QN90A 55 inch for the price of that and I bet it kills it in everything just not having the 144hz but then again trying to push 144hz won't be for me 4 so many years, but it sure is a great future feature, but not like it will annihilate everything from 120 to 144... And also same for the LG OLED which already got below 1400€ here in promotions and we are still a bit far from November, best price ever for the OLED LG C version was last year 55 inch CX at November for around 1350€ and the 2021 model already almost hit that price before november... Basically almost any high end tv can get close to the price of this monitor at end of year promotions which makes it a very hard choice. ps: But it definitely looks pretty good, but I wanted to see it tested was by rtings and other TV reviewers to see exactly in detail.

I just got this monitor and can confirm it slaps hard. I had issues with clouding and black uniformity, however, a firmware update fixed it. Make sure local dimming is on if you guys have issues with backlight bleed, if it’s super noticeable then might be a good idea to contact Gigabyte.

I used a 43” TCL tv as a monitor for a while. That size is about as big as you want a monitor to be. Web browsing and ordinary usage was fine, but that TCL was capped at 30hz for 4K so I’m sure this one would be fantastic by comparison.

The only issue i had was when Motion Blur was enabled (in-game setting) it gave a ghosting/smearing effect during fast action. Or spinning in circles cause that's how I tested. Just wanted to let you know you are wrong about the KVM. The KVM is GOD tier, usb-C-->PC (map usb-C to display port), hdmi1 to xbox (map USB-D to hdmi 1) and you are good to go. Works perfectly, just use KVM wizard via remote to set up. Anyway thanks for the content.

Hey Gear Seekers, thanks for the review! I hope you can also make even a brief video about non-gaming use. I want to know if it's too big or if it's actually better than a widescreen monitor at typical viewing distances. For context, I need to view multiple webpages and documents at their full sizes at once, and I was thinking that something like this might be better than a widescreen, along with the gaming benefits of course. I'd also be grateful if you could share what windowed 1440p gaming looks like on this. I have only a 2070 Super, which obviously can't run games at 4K at decent frame rates without severe sacrifices in image quality. My GPU limitation alone might be enough for me not to shoot for this one. But if 1440p windowed gaming also looks awesome on it (plus it lets me look at game guides at the same time!) then I'm definitely getting this over a widescreen monitor. Thanks!

Hello, I am using KTC G48P5 OLED monitor to play games. I tested several games like Resident Evil 3/2/8, Sekiro, and Elden Ring. And I found the dark region is not so clear as the OLED should be. So I tried to set the "dark balance" of the monitor from 50 to 100, it got much better, BUT the bright things like sunlight is distorted. That means I can't get a natural visual from that OLED monitor by setting the "dark balance". So I want to buy a non-oled monitor like this one to see if it gets better. I noticed that this monitor has a similar function "dark balance" to improve the darkness clarity, but I'm not sure whether this feature also increases the overall brightness just as the KTC does. If it affects only the dark region, I think it's OK for me to buy it. Could you please take some tests on that function? Thank you in advance!

@@dgreat1000 been using it since the end of June. 8hrs/day for work and then gaming both on PC and PS5. Productivity: It has a BGR pixel layout and some people might argue it's a deal breaker because text isn't sharp enough. Not the case. I work as an automation engineer and text is perfectly fine if used at native resolution and 150% scaling. Movies and Games on PC: HDR1000 offers the best quality possible outside of superior panel technology, like OLED. Minimal ghosting (overdrive setting must be set to balanced!), incredible contrast and color vibrancy. It's debatably as good as my LG OLED tv. It does come very well calibrated but quite dim in HDR mode so desktop color settings must be adjusted. PS5 is just as good especially in HDR games. Returnal particularly looks spectacular and having such a big screen, takes immersivity to the next level. PS: whoever wants to test HDR and picture quality, i recommend searching for Gemini Man HDR movie samples on youtube as they are uncompressed and provide the best experience for comparison. 10/10 would recommend and buy again lol
